We were welcomed by Jess and she was very kind and friendly. She showed us everything .. how to get into the building/room and also where everything was. We had a twin room which was clean and warm. We are used to harder beds and ours were a bit soft.. however, by night two we had got used to this so not a major issue. We shared the bathroom but this wasn't a problem at all. It was all very clean and the shower was good. We could have used the kitchen but we didn't. We had a drink in pub our first night and everyone there was very friendly and drinks were a great price. We would return if we found ourselves in Liverpool again. Thank you all! xx

Very large bathroom. Room was good temperature and freshly aired. Shower was hot and had a good flow. Hotel was well maintained. Car parking was convenient and cheap - less than £4 for 24 hours.

There was very little space for unpacking, which might have been a problem if we'd been staying for more than one night.

Location was good. But after requesting a room with a view of London Bridge. We was given a room facing a high-rise office building.

The staff. They were unwelcoming and rude. On my booking I explained we were visiting to celebrate our engagement. This was not commented on at all. As soon as we arrived, although we had pre-paid for our room, within seconds of arriving we were told we had to pay a £50.00 deposit. We were not made aware of this prior to arriving. And we was told as long as the room was left ok we would get it refunded within 5-7 working days. For me it was not only an inconvenience, but it felt like we were not trusted to leave the hotel room as we found it. Not a good welcoming start! When we checked out I asked for the money to be refunded and I wanted a receipt to show it had been refunded and the member of staff was very rude and short with me. When she gave me the receipt it had the last four digits of a card number I didn’t recognise. I showed her the card I paid with, and she pretty much called me a liar. She got the manager over and he told me “you must remember the situation differently, as this is card you paid with” - even tough he wasn’t present at the time I paid the deposit. I emptied out my purse to show I didn’t have any cards ending in that number and I just needed a receipt to show a refund to my card. In the end after being gas-lighted by the manager we left. Such as shame as I had stayed at the hotel a couple of years prior and never had this issue. But after this we won’t be back.

Could do with some thinner pillows, never seen such thick pillows in my life :) so used one of the sofa cushions instead to sleep with. Duvet seemed a bit small for the bed. I was solo so was ok but would have been fighting over it if two of us were in there. Lacking shower gel which would have been a nice touch. Oddly, the tv turned itself on twice during my stay.
