Great backpackers perfectly located both near the city and K Road so great food and bars right at your door step. Cleaning is done daily and the property owner is investing in doing the place up. New TV in the lounge, movie nights and get together events done weekly. You can’t get better value for your money anywhere else in the City..The staff are always smiling and more than helpful. Overall I rate the property 11 out of 10

Great location to check out the Brighton Peer at sunset! Only 10 mins drive to central city. Well worth it to be near the beach. Hot pools at the beach are a nice bonus also to check out. Showers on site and clean and powerful.

I was able to have a room transfer to be closer to my family. We were able to utilize the pool at the Sky Grand motel.

The room was not inviting, or warm. In fact, the room was cold, and the air-conditioning wall control was broken. I was told by staff that this was the issue in all of the rooms. It was unpleasant with a baby to have such a cold room. There was also a mix up with the rooms.

When a guest does not want daily room service as it's not convenient at the time the cleaners come, it's very likely that after 4 days, the floors are not the cleanest. Therefore, wanting to withhold a fee back from the guest is disgusting as there is not even a vacuum cleaner in the room. After much arguing forward and backwards, I managed in the end not to pay a fee, but that should not be necessary. There need to be a 2nd lift shared by many guests as waiting time is to long.

Nothing the hotel could have done - but having no hotel parking on arrival meant I had to walk from a public carpark building nearby with my bags in the rain.
