The breakfast staff were wonderful and the young lady who chaperoned to the room was also very cheery, kind and helpful. The cleaning staff were also helpful. 2km round trip walk to the local shops along the shaded coastal path. Next to the beach - take your own chairs etc. IF you don't like being directly on the sand. Pools and size of room were really good.

The breakfast staff and cleaners were wonderful and the young lady who chaperoned to the room was also very cheery, kind and helpful. The rest could use a training course in manners. Greeting people with a smile, good morning / afternoon/ evening costs absolutely nothing and makes people feel welcome - after 4 attempts we ate elsewhere... clearly a self service buffet along with serving drinks was stressful it became the guests problem... I also noticed solo travels, who were not engaged with at all...

Superb location close to Cilaos centre and the viewpoint of the Roche Merveilleuse - also the house itself is in the view 😜 Also radiators were provided for chilly evenings and mornings and they were very efficient.
