Positive section of review
This was our second stay. The hotel is a charming, calm oasis, very close to the palace and a ten minute walk to the pier and ferries. There is great eating to be had in the neighborhood. The rooms are situated off a courtyard, and are clean and comfortable. Best of all, the owner, Em, is a lovely fellow who did a lot to make us feel at home, and oriented and helped us on both our visits.

Small incident with some men (tourists!) at the downstairs bar on a Friday night, they were not hotel guests and tried to follow me (solo woman) into the closed off hotel part. I wouldn't let them in for my safety. Hotel / bar staff was not able to handle them, they were pretty agressive. Did not feel very safe.

If there is something that I need to say then it will be the location that is a little secluded. But the property can assist in renting a car so that shouldn’t be a problem.

- decent hotel - you literally fall into the Metro when exiting the hotel

-room is a bit small - fridge blocks the seating space at the desk - no wardrobe just some hooks on the wall makes it difficult with luggage of 2 people - lobby is the breakfast room, not so ideal

Cafe not open on Saturday and Sunday and was not told till I paid. Not near to any eating places The lobby was messy with construction materials. Staff were not helpful or polite. Water pressure was very weak There was and Indian function and the Indian music was very loud and long.
