Beautiful resort. Great service. Many amenities and great pools and restaurant. One of a kind

There are two parts of the hotel, adults only and family. Nevertheless the only kids pool is also a pool with a bar and tables inside the pool. So your kids play while others eat and get drunk in the same pool, literally one meter apart. On top, there is a second pool, also with tables and bar inside the pool in the adult section... But nonetheless, It's a very nice hotel. To perfect it I would wish for a cool children's pool and play area and maybe one pool with swimming lanes for the grown ups. Food is nice, but has room for improvement.

The hotel grounds are a mix between jungle, garden and park. All very well kept. Super big, and it's absolutely lovely to wander the hotel grounds. Stuff is exceptionally friendly and makes one feel very welcome. We would definitely come back!

wish they would move away from the adults only area and just make an adult pool and one restaurant. it would be nice when traveling with children to “cross the bridge”

Villa with hot spring pool was fabulous. Service and staff were very friendly and helpful; in fact the staff could not do enough for us. Nature trail and gardens were lovely. Loved everything about our stay. Thank you for a special occasion for my birthday.

It is a very large property so you better call the bellservice to drop you off at the different spots you want to go😁

The staff is very professional, from the moment you enter the resort till the moment you leave. All employees try to make your stay special. From the front office to the housekeeping department. The property is beautifully surrounded with nature and the rooms are unique and splendid. We will be back and stay longer. Thank you Micheal and Luis for taking good care of us.

The only down side is that it’s a close to 3 hour drive from either the San Jose or Liberia airport which makes for a long day after a flight.

Everything about Nayara is fantastic - the villas, the restaurants, the location and the staff. We preferred the a la crate breakfast to the buffet but we aren’t buffet people. The villas are a really good size and are very private - surrounded by lush trees and plants. We really enjoyed ours with the good size plunge pool. There are actually 3 separate properties - the Gardens, the Springs and the Tents but they all have access to each others’ amenities (except the Springs is adults only). We liked that the 4 restaurants (plus wine bar) and 3 pools are spread out around the properties so there is variety. The natural hot springs “thermal baths” are available to use anytime. Even though the resort was at full capacity it never felt crowded. No one stakes out their lounger by the pool at 7am since there’s always one available. People go for the huge variety of activities in the area - since it’s a rain forest it’s not the place to go if you just want to lie in the sun all day. The staff were all super friendly and took pains to learn your name. The restaurant service is very high and the food quality is exceptional.

The restaurants were good and the food was too, but a bit pricy.

The resort is beautiful and the rooms are too. It is built directly into the rainforest. Some Rooms have an amazing view on the volcano, others are grown into the beautiful vegetation. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything was perfect.

One of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Exceptional staff, service and facilities. We were able to see sloths and toucans inside the hotel forest. Different pools for enjoying the hot springs even at night (including a fantastic pool bar). Breakfast was amazing.

The property was magnificent. After staying there it was really hard going back to an ordinary hotel rooms. The outdoor shores, Canopy bed and the beautiful veranda made this room outstanding

I don’t even know where to begin! This place is truly AMAZING. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some nice hotels in my life but Nayara Gardens tops the list! I was a bit worried that this place would feel too ”resort-y” or inauthentic but I was pleasantly proved wrong. Nestled in the jungle, there are multiple walking paths on the grounds that offers tons of views of wildlife. The casitas are spectacular, the restaurants and amenities are amazing and, above all, the service is unparalleled. The staff are so warm and welcoming and meet every need you could possibly have while on vacation. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely pampered! There are too many employees to thank but special shout out to Eskela, Noel, Leo and Quentin. Quentin is the Executive Chef who, upon our departure, gave us a sealed bag of our favorite hearts of palm dipping sauce that we had casually mentioned to him we were obsessed with. The room rates are certainly in the top tier, but the service, amenities and atmosphere absolutely live up to the price. If you are on the fence about staying at Nayara, just do it! You won’t regret it.

EVERTHING!! This property is a class apart and has so many experiences to offer. The room are exceptional and every single cottage is private embedded in the middle of green. The property has some wildlife to experience too. The executive chef went out of the way to make sure out dietary requirements were catered since we were not too satisfied initially (we are vegans). HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY and it's worth every penny you pay.

Nayara was fabulous! Even though it was a large resort, the experience still felt private and authentic given the individual villas and incredible foliage/rainforest throughout the property. All of the staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and friendly. I have never experienced better customer service - the resort anticipates any needs you may have (ex. after having someone bring our luggage to reception for check-out while we were at breakfast the individual came back and did a final check of the room and realized we had accidentally left our bathing suits drying! without this we would have forgotten them - thanks again!)!
