The facilities need a lot of updating, and deep cleaning. There were a lot of droppings from the lizards around the pool area and chairs, watch where you step. Although most of the food was just okay, there was always something delicious on the menu to choose. Coffee was amazing.

We enjoyed relaxing by the pool drinking delicious pina coladas. It was easy to set up excursions from the hotel and close enough to other places to venture out on our own. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Functioning shower

This place is amazing. Beautiful. Quiet. Well staffed. The food was good! The place is clean. The staff were sooo friendly and attentive. The pools are great and the property is literally on the beach. The beach is very calm (basically no waves). This is not a party place (mainly quiet and families or couples). The room we stayed in was basic but clean. Our room didn’t have a functioning shower but we worked around it….that was my only complaint.

A couple of days very high winds before we arrived. Tree limbs everywhere. The grounds staff we in the process of cleaning it up but at a very measured pace.

Slightly tired. Air-conditioning has to be fixed twice. Quite expensive. Ground coffee which should have been supplied daily to room was not available as we were told the coffee company did not make enough!

Location was great. . Plenty of space in the grounds for everyone. We'll established gardens. Great beach.

We did have a noisy a/c vent in the bedroom but we turned it off and slept with the screen door open instead.

Our third time staying at this resort. We love the wildlife about the property and the staff are exceptional. Beach access and amenities keep improving over the years. Stayed in a master suite this visit and loved the outdoor seating areas off the rooms.

Needed better lighting in our room for reading. I had inquired the front desk about the cost for staying another night due to snow predicted in our final destination of Boston. Was told they would look into iI.. Later that day I got a What's App message saying the cost would be $900. Got a second message saying my flight had been canceled. I checked with Delta & the flight was not canceled. That upset me & I did make the front desk aware of it at checkout

We booked the “Garden View” room as the pictures looked great and we assumed it was still a part of the main property. On arrival, the room was totally different to the pictures- very small, dated and dull. Furthermore, the location was at the far end of the resort, in the car park right next to the entrance and main road. Genuinely a depressing place to consider staying and one that felt pushed as far from the resort facilities as possible. Kindly, the staff moved us to an “upgraded” room actually in the main resort area. Technically generous, but really it just put us in a room that we had been expecting to find ourselves in the first place.

The noise from the sports bar was so loud, we could not sleep in our higher priced partial oceanfront view suite. Had to move to the cheapest units overlooking the driveway area to get as far away from the noise as possible to get some sleep. Resort would not compensate for the differece - over $100 USD per night! Power to the resort would cut out frequently, as well as the water supply to our room. These issues were resolved quickly, however.

The staff are exceptional. Friendly, hard working and try their best to make their guests happy. Food was good - fresh, plentiful, decent variety.

This boutique hotel is mainly for people who want peace and quiet. You have to go there to chill, read a book by the pool, and go out on excursions offered by tour companies.

The staff and a better variety and quality of food than any of the 4 resorts we stayed at. Bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Fridge stocked daily with beers and soft drinks.

Our first rooms were in bungalow type buildings which was fine at first. However, they were located directly across from the sports bar, which is an outdoor bar area with games and volleyball court. We are certainly not old fuddy-duddies, and we do enjoy being a good time. However, the sports bar was empty the first night and music was blaring until after midnight with no guests. Fortunately, we were tired and were able to sleep. On the second night, there was a wedding and the wedding party convened at the sports bar at 9 and were screaming at the top of their lungs, blasting music, and intoxicated people were stumbling close to our rooms. Our kids were freaking out and we had to be up at 5:30 AM for a fishing trip. It sounded like a dance club inside our rooms. The walls were shaking from the music vibration. This went on for 3 1/2 hours and we had to walk to the security gate to find somebody who worked on the property. Even the security guard all the way out at the gate could hear the music. He made a call and the music ceased at 12:15 AM but they continued to serve until well after 2 AM (sports bar is supposed to close at 12AM). It was especially concerning that there was no manager on duty in the overnight hours. They have a number to call in an emergency that goes nowhere. What if there were a medical emergency during the night? There is literally no help. We took recordings of the previous evening to the staff the next morning and the manager did apologize profusely, moved our rooms to the main building on the other side of the property which was very quiet. We were very happy being in those rooms. Now for the second negative. unfortunately I became very sick during my stay. When my husband went down to see if they had any medicine that he could buy for me they had nothing and seemed very unconcerned. He ended up sneaking onto an adjacent property for help (which they gave him).

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The buffet was really great with a large variety of foods and drinks. You definitely get your moneys worth as far as food is concerned. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. We did have to change rooms but they did accommodate that. Beach has beautiful sunsets and basically deserted in the mornings which makes for a nice walk. The kids loved all of the iguanas running around.

There's little to improve, perhaps some of the facilities are starting to show its age, however the hotel is in excellent shape over all.

The staff and food were incredible. Besides from being pet-friendly you feel that your pet is welcome and treated as a guest. Even drinks were good.
