Near the beach and the road to Manuel Antonio NP. My teenage sons loved the pool and we all appreciated the air conditioning in our room. Great view over the ocean. Staff really helpful. It's on a hill but the free transport service around the site meant that this was not a problem. A highlight was spitting a baby sloth in the trees by one of the restaurants.

It is right next to one of the restaurants! But it didnt ruin the experience! Well worth a visit for any trip to Cr.

Beautiful view from the Studio + Family room. Around the corner from the pool (but not loud). It was hot and humid but the A/C worked beautifully. Very convenient that there were different restaurants associated with the hotel. The restaurant on the property (Anaconda) had great food and service.

The uphill climb. Just don’t do it. Also, the lighting is dimmer because of their use of bottles as shades. This does reduce light considerably. Ladies make note for any makeup routine.

We liked the vastness of the property. It clearly is one of the largest hotels in Manuel Antonio. We felt secluded in the adult area of the property but also at any moment were able to access any area easily via free shuttle within the property or just plain walking.

Pool needs towel service. It’s pretty annoying to carry towel from room to pool and back. Price of hotel is high, really USA prices, but it was high season. Drinks are moderately high but good. Breakfast service after it is delivered is non existent. Staff never returns for coffee or water refills. This is one problem with the mandatory tip instead of optional tip. You have to get up or flag them down for any service once meal is delivered.

The ocean view room was exceptional view. Looked over the bay in front of Manuel Antonio. Pool deck view is exceptional regardless of room location. Sunset should not be missed from this location. The bartenders made the pool experience nice. The location is close enough to the beach to walk, tho it is steep. Breakfast was pretty good and not overly priced. Laundry service was not over priced either. Wildlife at the hotel is fantastic. Birds, monkeys, sloths all around.

We did not receive the room we booked the first night and moved the next day to a room with the specific bed configuration we booked to accommodate 3 adults. The staff said we had not booked the beds correctly even though it was very clearly stated on our booking.

A little expensive but it was our honeymoon and big splurge of the trip. Still worth it and we would stay there again! Didn't love Playa Espadilla. Would much rather have stayed at the park's beaches longer.

The views were incredible, all rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed, big balcony, loved being in the adults only area, all the planes scattered around the property were so cool, excellent cocktails, all of the restaurants on property were excellent, the staff was very friendly and helped book our tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park with a great guide and shuttle service, the property shuttle service to the restaurants on property was very nice and last but not least my favorite, the MONKEYS EVERYWHERE! The squirrel monkeys playing in the jungle canopy every evening at sunset was my favorite thing!

Would have liked an option to include breakfast. Pool that children can use is nowhere near as nice as the adults pool.

Amazing hotel complex. Lots of restaurant options. View from adults pool is amazing and perfect to watch the sunset with a few cocktails.

Stunning views and great location, you feel at one with nature. Very clean rooms with good facilities. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable stay. Really enjoyed the pool facilities, and the staff were very kind.

Very good hotel. If you expect a little luxury this is the place to stay. Our suite was in zone D with an amazing view of the ocean. Very well equipped and clean. The property is very large and there is something for everyone. Lots of different restaurants. Interesting idea of apartments decorated in old airplanes. Very good swimming pools. Beach within walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like this feature but you need to be certain you can walk up & down the street of the property and down to the beach. It’s a good hike and if you’re not comfortable with a somewhat strenuous walk please consider driving down to the beach.

The view from our room was amazing, overlooking the water. Having a tub on our balcony was a nice surprise. The size of our room was quite large. Plenty of monkeys to view from the balcony with our morning coffee.

A bit far from the beach

The property has stunning views, great pools, and comfortable rooms. The restaurants are excellent - we especially enjoyed the bar inside the plane at El Avion, and the pizzas at El Wagon. You can see monkeys and other wildlife right on the property. Super fun place to say!

The hotel has nice rooms in different buildings. If you like aviation this is a must-see, they have even special rooms in old airplanes. Plenty of dining options around. Beach is a bit down the road but not too far away.
