Inexpensive accommodation. You get what you pay for. Staffs are excellent and helpful. Stayed 4 nights here. Will return here for a budget travel in the future.

Noise from the bar but taking into consideration the price of the room, can't complain!

Staff very helpful. I was put in a room with no windows; i asked them if they could find me a room with windows. Around an hour later, they said i could move to a room upstairs (they finished cleaning up) that has window to the bathroom. I was happy. I needed air. Thanks.

It is a basic room, small bed - about twin size, and it was rather stiff. There is no microwave or coffee maker, but you can buy some food in a bodega right outside or at a coffee shop nearby. This is more like a single occupancy room than a hotel - there are poor people staying there who can't afford to rent a place long-term. It gets very noisy, plus they were doing repairs there very early in the morning.

This is a very good location if you are traveling by intercity bus - it is in 4 blocks from one bus station and 12 blocks from 7-10 station with buses to Jaco and Herradura. 17 blocks from the bus to the Airport - about 20 minutes walk. So you are saving a lot of money by walking and not taking cabs or airport shuttle if you do not have a lot of luggage,. It is also very cheap - it was about 12$ for a night, you get a room with private bathroom for a price of a hostel bunk. It is safe, but I would not walk around late at night, or leave valuables in the room, but for one night it is great.

Very shady area, don't stay here if you want to explore the nearby places walking. After sunset, not a good idea to walk here at all. The walls are thin and as they rent the place by the hour, you might understand what kind of people stay there too.

Excellent value for money - we paid 11 USD in total for 2 people. The bed is OK and the room has a private bathroom, the shower has warm water. Nothing extra but everything you need for just spending the night and not wasting money.

Quite a dodgy location, just off the red zone, however felt safe in the room. No lock on the bathroom door and beds very uncomfortable, cold showers.

Our shower could have had hoteert water. When it didn’t work, the hotel called a repai person right away. But the water only ever got lukewarm...

We ended up here thinking it was a cheap and easy overnight option before flying out the next day. The hotel staff were super warm and helpful. I needed to buy a phone cord and to get to a bank machine and they told me where to go and I was able to complete my errands before everything closed. They brought a bar fridge to store diabetic medicine in and gave us a quieter room as requested. I asked and paid them $5m to do a huge bag of laundry which was super helpful as we were headed to Cancun from San Jose and needed clean clothes. Parking was in front and they kept an eye on the car all night...everything was smooth and convenient, including restaurant recc (we had a delicious Venezuelan meal across the road)

No complete wall as we had glass slats to a random room that then had a hole in it so I could hear all the interesting goings on in the street quite clearly... Hairs on the bed !! 3 to be precise.... please do check when changing the bed next time....

I loved the lonesome cow overlooking the bed, and how there were some slightly antique flowers placed at the bottom of the empty shelves.... It was so quirky how the corner sofa was not in the corner and the lock for bathroom was on the outside so I could playfully lock my partner in the bathroom unawares! A good time was had by all.

There wasn’t hot water.

Staff was great. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Bed was soft and tv had cable. Very close to town.

The room small with no windows. Close to reception, where there was very loud long discussions at night and in the morning. I don't like when the bed is not well made, with the bottom sheet constantly slipping off the mattress. Staff unable to provide basic information, such as transport to airport, or money exchange.

Room was awful - so many bugs and cockroaches running around in the room, even on the bed and under the pillows. The hostel was very loud with people running in the corridors screaming all night. Would not recommend.
