It was like something out of the movies! The location was beautiful with breathtaking views. The room was very clean and also had incredible views. It was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon. It was also great that it was so close to quepos as we were able to do some offshore fishing. The wildlife in the mornings was fun to watch. The staff were all very friendly. Would highly recommend this location and can't wait to go back!

It’s a bit of a hike down to the beach and not a super walkable area.

The views are amazing! Private little beach down the mountain felt secluded. The breakfast was wonderful. Large rooms with tubs!!

The hotel is beautiful, the view from our room was amazing and we saw all kinds of birds (Macaws, Toucans, etc.) and monkeys while eating breakfast. The staff were friendly, efficient and went out of their way to make sure we were having a good time. Thank you Julia, Randal, Gaston, & front desk lady (can't remember her name). The food in the restaurant was delicious. We went fishing and brought the fish back with us and the chef cooked it for us. For a short visit or a longer stay (as we did) this is the hotel to book!

No hooks or rails to hang towels in the room, ridiculous wooden swinging doors in the bathroom area, quality of the breakfast , loud music on the terrace during the day that spoilt the quiet , natural sounds of the wildlife

Access road to the hotel is tricky. We got offered a bottle of fizzy wine and we were not allowed to drink it during our meal at dinner (wanting to charge $20 if we did so). No lift to access Honey Moon Suit. Not enough toiletries (shampoo/body wash) in the room.

The description of rooms that are "penthouse" ...some are facing the ocean with spectacular views but are NOT penthouse rooms. Kindly update the description of your rooms.

The room is comfortable and the views are amazing. Plenty of wildlife to see as well. The staff provided a warm welcoming feel throughout our stay. The breakfasts were the perfect way to start each day!

Our room was right off of the dining room. While it was conveniently located to dining, pool, exit, spa, it was also very loud specifically during meal times and I wasn’t able to sleep in as I like to do on vaca because staff starts loudly setting up breakfast around 5:45 every day. The beach is beautiful, but as many have posted before, it’s a brutal walk (pretty much straight downhill to the beach and straight uphill coming back). If you brave the trail, wear good shoes and take water! Overall, service was great, but there were times we were in the pool area and it lacked.

Beautiful views, quiet/not over crowded at all, staff was attentive for the most part. Pool was super deep and great for swimming or soaking. Plenty of seating to suit all guests at the pool. Daily visits by monkeys, macaws, iguanas, and toucans—loved soaking in the pool, watching them in their natural habitats! Included breakfast was fresh and delicious. All meals we ate at the restaurant were yummy!

A bit overpriced for the property. I asked the hotel to book a taxi for me for 2 excursions and ended up being overcharged for services, driver told me that the prices were set by the hotel not him.

Beautiful property and rooms, views were incredible. Workers were very kind and helpful. Located in walking distance to playa biesanz.

The location is a bit awkward since it’s on a hill under Manuel Antonio village meaning that you need either car/taxi to get to restaurants/shops or hike up the hill (took us 20 mins of a good cardio) on a road that’s not lit properly in the night. The place tries to remedy this with a free shuttle service that takes you up to the town or to the beach nearby however the shuttle only runs until 4pm so you still need to deal with the hill going to/from dinner.

We loved the views from the hotel - especially from the breakfast/pool area (exactly as shown on the pictures). We even saw parrots flying around and few iguanas chilling around the property. Our room was spacious, well equipped (including jacuzzi) and also with a beautiful view. Breakfast was good though only with one choice of meal every day.

Beautiful private view from the room. Excellent kitchen with very friendly staff. Nice pool. Quite exclusive as one would expect from a boutique hotel.

The pool is so deep, there is no way to lounge in it, but the view and lounge chairs make up for it!

The location was secluded and really gave you that jungle feel. The staff was so attentive and friendly. Food and drinks were amazing!

It was too far from the beach and other amenities.

It was quiet and the staff was very attentive. Each room had a beautiful view of the bay and the hotel’s restaurant was excellent.

What we didn’t like is that there was no elevator we had to go up and down the stairs and that was not easy that would be something you should make guests aware of

The breakfast was definitely delicious. Rosa, the maid, kept the room, extremely clean, and Julia. The rate us at the restaurant was always there to serve and make sure we had everything we needed.

The communication by phone and WhatsApp was somewhat disappointing.

Excellent views from the room of the ocean and outstanding service! David the Chef greeted us and made great dishes! Received wonderful service from Genia and Julia! All staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Hotel is very clean and comfortable just like in the photos. Randall and julia are amazing at the restaurant and the breakfast/food/drinks were amazing. Monkeys,macaws, parrots,lizards and many other types of wildlife surrounding the hotel! Excellent for a couple retreat!
