We stayed in the "African House" , unique and charming style but we found it a little too warm around bed time. The fans helped and we could also go to the outdoor patio where we could also observe local birds and mammals.

Owners Michael and Liqa are warm and caring hosts. Breakfast was delicious with option of traditional Costa Rican or more conventional. We also enjoyed the dinners, gourmet style and reasonably priced! Liqa was extra helpful to us in planning our trip. Mundo Milo deserves at least a 2 or 3 night stay to really benefit from the property, beach and surrounding area.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. The tropical garden that surrounds the rooms and area is so beautiful. There is a family of howler monkeys that live nearby and we saw them several times.Beyond the wonderful breakfast, we ate almost all meals on location as the food was excellent. Don’t miss sushi Tuesday! The lodge is a short 5 minutes to the beach where we had the whole beach to ourselves on several occasions. All of the staff was wonderful. Lieke was even able to come with our group to the rodeo in town one of the evenings. It was great! We can’t wait to come back!

I felt that there were no comfortable sitting spaces inside our room and it wasn’t always comfortable being outside, due to the heat. Reviews I read said you could walk to the market/town; I wouldn’t agree with that due to heat in the area. Not anything to do with the resort, but would recommend having a car if wanting to go places.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating! The food was delicious. The area was beautiful and was a great place to just disconnect from life and reset.

Very nice and welcoming staff. Good breakfast and great restaurant experience in the evening. The atmosphere was relaxing, the pool very nice too. The hotel is close (but not right next) to a nice beach, which wasn't crowded. There's also a Turtle association on that beach and we could experience baby turtles going to the sea. Our family loved the experience there. We definitely recommand it.

Wonderful eco lodge run with care by Lieke and Michael, nestled in the forest, gorgeous and beautifully maintained property, with a lovely pool area. Also a 5 minute walk from magnificent Playa Junquillal, more quiet and less touristy than others in the area (a plus for us). Excellent dining at their restaurant, with delicious daily specials. We were extremely warmly welcomed: Lieke helped us book activities like a sunset horseback ride and was excellent with our 8 year old daughter. Superb value and a great place to come as a family. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property with lush trees which is why it feels like a real jungle ecolodge just across the street from beautiful beaches. The restaurant is great and we ended up having all our meals there! Super relaxing environment to unwind and the owners are very friendly and have lots of great local tips to share about the area. We will be coming back!

The location is amazing with a wonderful pool and a really quite area. The food is delicious and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. I just stayed one night as my whole trip was pre-booked, but I would have liked to stay longer.

The only thing that was uncomfortable for me was the box spring beds, otherwise everything was perfect!

The hosts were very friendly and the service was exceptional! The breakfast was also very good. The pool was great and the whole property is very clean. We liked the bungalows, as well as the distribution of them on the property, allowing for privacy.

Property was located in a quaint area near a beautiful and quiet beach. The room was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were well-kept. Breakfast was delicious as were the dinners. We also enjoyed the pool. Owners were very nice as were the staff. We liked that the beach was a 5 minute walk and that we could walk also to another beach that had snorkelling. We also saw a turtle on the beach which was amazing! The AC was very nice to have as well. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

It is a 30 min drive to Tamarindo. Keep that in mind if you like to stay close to busy tourist town.

Best surprise of our holiday, Michiel and Lieke are Dutch hosts and do everything to make you feel at home, from good breakfast to help us book a tour to see turtles laying eggs on the beach.The bungalows on this eco lodge are spacious and surrounded by a beautiful green park.The area is quiet, but close to the beach etc. We definately want to come back.

The outdoor space at the room was very mosquito heavy but a good dose of bug spray did it.

Lieke the owner of the property is immensely helpful and welcoming. She was able to answer all our questions leading up to and during our stay. The facilities are wonderful - loved our room, the pool and the dining facilities. We were there with our two kids and they had on-site activities (pool, dart board, board games, ping pong) and items to borrow (boogie boards and snorkels) for offsite activities.

Not much to complain about - the bathroom door in our bungalow was very noisy. that’s about it!

What a hidden gem! We loved our bungalow in the jungle - with monkeys coming through a couple of times a day - amazing! Comfortable spacious rooms with comfy beds and air conditioning, plus an outdoor kitchen and the market a 15 min walk away. Michel and Lieke (spelling?) we’re absolutely wonderful and accommodating hosts, the food and drinks were all delish in the restaurant too. We’ll definitely be back!

There isn't much not to like. The smallest issue was that the bed was a bit hard. We let the owners know and they were willing to accommodate us by moving us rooms. Since we were there for only two nights, we opted not to take the option. I am glad they had an option for us. The customer service is phenomenal.

What wasn't there to like about this place! The lodge is everything you see on booking.com. The owners were friendly and knowledgable about the area. They have owned the lodge for 17 years. We stayed in the Persian Bungalow. It is a two bed room with a covered patio that had seating. It was a short walk up to the main lodge where you could eat amazing food, play ping pong, darts, cards, have a drink, and go swimming. The ocean is only 1500 feet away and is a easy walk. The howler monkeys are near by and often swing through the property. I would definitely come back to this location in a heart beat!
