My room was on a base floor with associated smell of a basement in the room. In addition, the toilet was dirty and I would say generally that the hotel have seen better times.

The only thing that I would suggest is provide tea and coffee facilities in the room instead of providing it at the reception. The water from the flask does not stay hot. Also, on our last day, there was no hot water as they were working on their plumbing. Aside from that our stay was wonderful and comfortable.

The hotel was very close to shops, restaurants, take aways and ice cream shop. It is also walking distance to the bus and train station for tourists and locals to travel to Hamburg City. ( The train is very reliable and on time ) all the time. The hotel staff were lovely people. They are very welcoming and accommodatingThe lady at the reception let us even borrow an adapter. Navi was also nice . Checking in and out was easy. The place was clean.

I ordered a room with 3 single beds. It turned out that one of the beds was a sofa bed that had been set up for the night. I normally try to avoid these, as they are not as comfortable to sleep in as proper beds. Unfortunately, this was not mentioned correctly in the description from the hotel.

Quiet area of town, easy to park close to hotel, nice breakfast (although not as extensive as I remember it in the past), huge bathroom.

It was a very hot room and only one fan so it was a bit difficult to sleep. We didn't open the windows due to the mosquitos.

We used it as we had a very early plane to catch from Hamburg airport. This hotel is around 15min away from the airport I arrived very late so I had to extract my room key from a machine and I left very early next day so I didn't talk to anyone on the hotel. I left he payment in the room.

Instructions were not clear; We had contactless check in, but I had to ask for my pin code though it was promised to be sent to us on the day of check in. Then we were a bit confused as to how to check in. But it was simple once we called the hotel number to ask.

Large beds, large bathroom, simple but comfortable room. Location is surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries within walking distance.

The room smelled like sweaty feet. No matter how long we opened the windows, the smell just wouldn't go away. I think the smell had somehow gotten into the carpet.

The baby bed and kids bed were set up and everything looked neat. The breakfast buffet also had a nice variation of options.

Pillows were the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel (very lumpy), though in fairness we didn't ask for different ones. Rooms didn't seem to be very well sound-proofed, as we could hear a baby cry (and parents try to calm them down) one night.

Ideal location for our visit (we stayed for a birthday party nearby). Fairly easy access from Hamburg and the airport via the U-Bahn. Although it's on a main road, it's not very busy at night, so not too noisy. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
