We had a double room and wanted separate beds. The room we got had a king bed and a sofa bed. They had the sofa bed nicely made up for us. However, you had to sleep sideways in the bed because there was an uncomfortable bar that hit right in the middle of your back. But, on a positive note, the sheets and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel also was not on the beach but offered a shuttle bus to the beach. Walking in the area around the hotel was hard at times because of lack of sidewalks in some places.

The hotel property was very beautiful and perched on a hill. Our room overlooked the jungle and ocean. You couldn't ask for a better view! I loved the beautiful stained glass windows in the bathroom. The bathroom was large, with a beautiful wooden counter and large tiled shower. The adult pool was very nice and they offered happy hour service directly to you while you were at poolside. The family pool was much nicer but of course it was loud because of the children so we didn't swim there. The food at the restaurant was also very good.

only 4 lounge chairs at the family pool. the adult pool has tons and is hardly used. we recommend that the property make both pools open to all.

The staff at this property make all the difference. The rooms are basic but clean and the views are outstanding. but the staff works so hard to make your stay exceptional and because of them we would happily come back.

Lovely staff, great cocktails and perfect location! Didn’t see the monkeys at breakfast but saw a sloth super close by in one of the trees close to reception on our way out. Butterflies across the road worth a short visit too.

We spent several days at Si Como No, and my whole family loved it so much. We have traveled extensively, and have never felt so welcomed by such an incredibly kind staff anywhere else in the world. The view from our room was stunning—the online photos don’t truly capture the expansive view of the ocean and forest. The room was bright, airy, and well maintained. I was concerned about bugs in the room (due to the proximity to the forest) but there were no issues. I believe the hotel was fully booked while we were there, but it never felt crowded and there was a pool chair available whenever we wanted one. My husband and son loved the pool slide, the swim up bar was fun, the spotting scope was a great touch, and we had frequent macaw and toucan sightings, along with monkeys and a sloth. We love photography, and had so many great opportunities to capture wildlife photos from our balcony and the pool. The Rico Tico staff would even call us over to help us find things. If I tried to name a staff member that made us feel welcomed, I’d need the entire roster. We stayed at another hotel in the area that was also beautiful, but Si Como No truly felt like home.

Food was okay, but not the best. Coffee in room was too weak, in my opinion. Could use more hangers and hooks in room for hanging damp clothes and towels on.

Beautiful view of ocean, very kind and helpful staff, adults-only pool and family pool, stained glass features, well-maintained gardens, quiet (up the hill away from the party-atmosphere along the beach). Very nice spa with excellent massage from Julio. Helen was very helpful answering questions and booking excursions.

if you want a great ocean view from a hillside your are going to have steps up and down. For us no problem for those with trouble walking could be hard.

The views were amazing, rooms had updated short and comfy beds. Included breakfast nice choice of off menus or use buffet or both. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful family pool and bar. Many exotic birds on site.

There was nothing we really didn't like. As above we were able to hear the people next door but that's not an easy thing to solve and wouldn't stop us going there again

The resort was amazing. We loved that the pool had a bar facility and the option to order food from there too. The rooms were not entirely soundproof but that wouldn't deter us from staying there again. We were thrilled to find this gem at reasonable rates with the friendliest of staff. Excellent value for money.

Windows in the bedroom didn't full seal, which meant we got a lot of ants in the bedroom and bathroom. Staff were helpful dealing with this providing repellent (which worked), offering to change the window and/or even change room which we appreciated. Floors and sofa could have done with a hoover and some of the furniture could have been dusted.

Amazing views and lots of wildlife. We saw Toucans, Scarlet Macaws, monkeys and iguanas all at the property which we loved. The pools/pool bars and breakfast were great and staff were friendly and helpful. Large room with great view. Hotel helped arrange Manuel Antonio tour (which we would highly recommend!) and our transfer back to the airport, both of which went very smoothly. Location was great, close to plenty of good restaurants/bars, many of which have great sunset views.

The facilites at the pools were lacking in that there were hardly any sun loungers, I acknowledge that most people staying at the hotel are out and about but those who did want to have some downtime around the pool really struggled to find anywhere to sit or any shade. There is also a very strict pool towel / ticket system which led to a misunderstanding when I traded in a pool towel for a beach towel and threw the whole system into disarray. Not necessary.

Location. The views from this property are breathtaking. Our room came with a balcony which looked out over the rainforest down to the sea, from which you could sit and watch the myriad of birds. The room itself was spacious and very well maintained. The hotel grounds are immatculate. The hotel is built into a hillside which facilitates the amazing views. Possibly not suitable for anyone with mobility issues! Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Everything is cooked fresh to order with some very unusual and delicious options. Staff could not be more helpful. Hotel is quiet and peaceful but is located on the main street down to Manuel Antonio National Park so there are various restaurant options within easy walking distance.

It was my wife's birthday while we were there and I organised a reservation via the whats ap contact they give you for one of the restaurants with champagne on arrival. When we got there, they didn't have any record of the booking, meaning the experience/surprise was slightly ruined. They did provide us with the bubbles on their house in the end, but a shame this happened but didn't ruin the rest of the experience. On arrival you are giving a lot of information on the hotel, but some information on the local area would have been helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay though and had an amazing time!

The staff went above and beyond and were always so helpful and friendly. The location is good, a little way from the beach but the hotel have a shuttle that takes you down so that wasn't an issue. The rooms were huge, comfy and had everything we needed including a great view. They have a few restaurants/places to eat on site which all offered good choices and always tasty.
