We are at the hotels restaurant Rico Tico one night, but found the menu to be very limited for lighter options for the adults, and no children sized meals.

We loved the view of the sea and rainforest from our balcony, and the big picture windows which meant we could enjoy it from inside too. The room was spacious with plenty of room for our family if 4 to relax. The kids pool was especially great. They loved the slide and rocky area they could climb up on. The swim up bar was a nice touch. They provided the best breakfast of the trip, and the view you get from the restaurant couldn’t be beaten. We used a mix of the hotels free shuttle, taxis and local bus to move around. We were also within walking distance of plenty of great restaurants.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views. Rooms are lovely with everything that you need and a view over the rainforest and ocean. There are restaurants within walking distance. There are 2 pools - we used the adult pool every day and it was very peaceful. The hotel is surrounded by wildlife including monkeys and birds and we even saw a young sloth. The staff are exceptional- nothing is ever too much trouble. A special mention to Keilyn at the adult pool bar. She goes out of her way to give everyone a warm welcome and provides an excellent, friendly service.

As mentioned, there were not enough lounge chairs by the adult pool, and the ability to rent or borrow snorkels would have been great.

It was a lovely space, with very comfortable beds and great breakfast. I think one improvement wold be more lounge chairs by the adult pool - as it was a hot ticket item. Also, snorkel items that guests could borrow would be appreciated.

Great location with good views towards the ocean. Very friendly and helpful staff, a fabulous room with a balcony, a good swimming pool with a cocktail bar, and a very good restaurant. A fabulous place to stay, with the added bonus of watching squirrel monkeys from our balcony each morning!

Two days in a row kids were permitted to be in the adult pool. The parents used the excuse that the kids wanted to watch the fútbol game that was on the television. They did not spend their time watching the game. I suspect the parents did not want to hang out at the family pool. There’s rule for a reason. Please don’t make these exceptions for entitled people.

The bathroom was very clean, but dated. For what we paid we expected more. We were also disappointed that the pool and gift shop didn’t open until after we were checking out.

The view of the beach was spectacular! Our bed was very comfortable and we had lots of room. I appreciated the extra glasses and coffee bar.

Food prep was inconsistent - a few meals were very good, a few mediocre, one was poor. There are other options for lunch and dinner nearby.

Lovely, comfortable, clean, quiet room with amazing views. Friendly, helpful staff. Pretty good restaurants - excellent breakfasts. Fantastic property that is beautifully maintained. Wildlife everywhere (but none in the room, thankfully). Easy walk to nearby restaurants and shops, very short drive to the park and beaches.
