The trees that are in front of each room blocks the volcano view.

Great hospitality, great pool, great comfortable room, peaceful, close to the center of La Fortuna but far enough away from the crowd.

Traffic on the Main Street running past the house was a bit noisy, but given the overall quality of the stay this is neglectible.

Fantastic location with full view of the volcano, close to restaurants and supermarket. Most beautiful garden and very well maintained pool area with a giant, shaded jacuzzi. Comfortable and clean room. Parking right behind the bungalow.

Nothing major to mention. It would be helpful to have some written warning that the door locks automatically when you close it.

This hotel has very nice and clean rooms, the staff was kind and helpful and they also have a beautiful pool area with a heated jacuzzi. The location is favorable for finding good restaurants. Lots of animals near the property: armadillos, tucans, oropendola, squirrels.

nice spacious terrain with a number of private little houses, good swimming pool and jacuzzi, well maintained garden en great view on the Arenal vulcano. is a little bit out of the town La Fortuna which makes it even better in our view. that being said there are a supermarket, bakery, laundry service and restaurants at walking distance. the people at the reception were also very helpful in booking some activities.

Very beautiful room with high ceiling. Quiet location. Nice and spacious garden with many colourful birds: Toucans, hummingbirds etc. The heated whirlpool was great. The 'normal' pool was rather cold. Very friendly owners. Accross the street there are a few restaurants. Absolutely amazing pizza in the pizzeria which was founded by an Italian. The view to the volcano should be great. Unfortunately, El Arenal was hidden in the clouds for all four days there.

Although the cabina had a ‘kitchen’ (Fridge, sink, cups, a fork and a spoon) there were just a few items missing (some plates and knives would be nice) to make it easy to make your own breakfast.

Although we had some rainy days in Fortuna (and even didn’t see the volcano), Villas Vilma made it worthwile. Excellent cabinas, with a beautiful garden (lots of birds can be seen just from your terrace) and a nice swimming pool & jacuzzi. If you get lucky to visit on a clear day, I think the views will be spectacular. Very clean, great shower, you can park your car in front of the cabina. Location is about 2km from the town center, so if you are not driving yourself, you need a taxi to go to town. Going there is not absolutely necessary though, as there are some nice restaurants, a supermarket and a laundry place just across the street.

Everything was fine about the property apart from the toilet flush wasn’t working and they didn’t seem to be able to fix it but we were only there two nights so we were able to manually make it flush.

the property was set in beautiful gardens with many unusual birds. There was a view of Volcano Arenal. Plenty of places to eat just outside the property and the staff were very helpful.

There were no utensils provided if we wanted to eat something in the room, but other than that, it was perfectly fine.

The pool and spa were great ways to pass our down time, the rooms are nice and private and I loved watching the birds fly around, we saw lots of exotic species, even more than when we were in the parks.

The A/C was leaking water inside the room but they fixed it quickly. Everything else was good.

I liked the pool and the hot tub the because unlike some hotels the pool did not have bugs and leaves floating around in it. I liked the room because it was a good size for a family of four (except there was only one bathroom like most hotels). It also had a great view of the volcano nearby. Also the greenery was awesome. It was in center of the town and close to restaurants, supermarkets and other attractions.

- we loved it all!! The main pool isn’t heated but it didn’t matter as the hot tub is large enough to play in.

Breakfast Option would be a plus. But you can get a breakfast at the Soda right across the street.

We enjoyed our stay from the start to the extended checkout. The beautiful garden provided a enjoyable view from the porch. The swimming area with the jacuzzi was a big plus. Pro tip: hot streams and bubbles can be instantly requested via WhatsApp message. We were surprised by lovely towel animals every day.

If I have to find a point that is not 100% ideal than it would be that the street is quite close. If you are a light sleeper then better bring ear plugs....
