How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

No US outlets, only European ones, but they provide adapters. Also no hair dryer or fridge in the room. There's a fridge in the common area though.
Great location and price. Nice and clean pool. Breakfast is included, nothing exceptional, but good enough.

The only negative point is that there is not a convenient option to get ready at the hotel after the checkout, no toilet and only outdoor shower. The outdoor shower was also broken when I tried it, unfortunately I only knew it too late, so i didn’t have time to do anything else, went to my 9hour flight feeling un fresh, covered with sunscreen and sweat. So keep that in mind when you plan your for the last day.
Clean and very friendly staff. Location is good, 10 - 15 minutes walking from the beach, due to the heat i would still recommend a car or a scooter to move around.

The place is nice, comfortable and clean. The owners and those who work are super friendly.Breakfast is good and complete. The area is very quiet, ideal for resting and has a very nice beach nearby.

I might have liked a TV in the room because we were there during the Superbowl and wanted to relax in bed while watching it at night. All the rest was amazing.
The owners and all the people working there were super nice and payed a lot of attention to whatever you might need. Really open to help. The bedroom was comfortable and breakfast was really complete. Everything was really clean and organized.

Could not find one thing to complain about.
The staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. I really enjoyed having breakfast by the pool provided by the staff each morning, as well as all day access to the pool that was well maintained. The entire property was spotless for my entire stay. There is working A/C in each room as well as a ceiling fan which was definitely a blessing, as it was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) everyday I was there! My room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels and wash clothes were provided daily if not every other day. Shower was clean and water pressure was awesome. Small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash were even provided!

The apartment is excellent. The breakfast is good too. Clear and Shirley are amazing persons. Always close to help you giving some tips about some beautiful places to know in Curaçao. I highly recommend the staying there.

We liked everything!
This Villa is an absolute hidden gem, you have everything what you need for the good time spend on Curaçao! Patty and her family and stuff are very warm and welcoming people you feel like at home.Any minor problem was quickly and easily fixed. The breakfast was always great, our room spacious and had AC. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant staff, always in for a friendly chat, super easygoing, attentive and helpful. Patty just took over the B&B with lots of motivation, making the space comfortable and cosy. We (a family group of 6) felt very well taken care of, 10/10!

Deck boards around the pool but it sounds like its in the works with the new owners
Breakfast was always more than sufficient. Hard boiled egg was perfect every time. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The big family tables are great as it gives opportunity to meet and talk with other guests as they sit across from you. Place was very clean and bright. Always cold beer in the fridge for a small charge.

Nothing. The place is in Jan Thiel, a very good zone near by you can go to beaches and restaurants.
The property it's beautiful, comfy and quiet. A clean and fresh pool; I'm in love with Olga, the host; always available for us, very kind and a good talker. Best B&B in Curacao. Recommended 100%

getting a taxi was a bit difficult if we were trying to get into town but Olga was also very nice as she helped.
