Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

HungaryCleaning needs to improve. They change the towels and take out trash but thats kind of it. Over one week, the terrace was not mopped once and dirt and dust accumulated already from day one. They dont really clean behind furniture, so when you move the bin or the couch a little for example there is dirt behind it. It’s a problem, especially if you stay for a longer time. At some point we just wanted to ask for the broom so we can just clean up ourselves. They also brought us welcome drinks and fruits, which was lovely, but we saved some fruit for the next day, and they just took it away ( it wasn’t even peeled fruit!) we didn’t understand why. Anyway, this is all fixable!
So many programs! Something for everyone. Beach has crystal clear waters. Garden is a little oasis! Maybe the hotel wasn’t at full capacity, we always found a secluded place and free beds to relax on. Food was also so varied and great. The on site Basilikos restaurant has a great set menu, but go there very hungry because the portions are huge. We are already planning on going back again.

Estonia- Elevators are slow, especially during peak times, but using the stairs can be a good workout! - Music at the poolside bar during the day. All day long same slow well known love/heartbreak songs were played. I understand that it kind of fits the vibe for dinner but swimming next to "My heart will go on" is not my preference. Could use a more upbeat playlist to match the sunny atmosphere
- Excellent facilities, impeccably clean, with ample space by the pool for everyone. - Super friendly and helpful staff who strike the perfect balance between assistance and giving guests space to enjoy their vacation. - Great variety of activities, including themed meze nights twice a week - Rooms are comfortable and cater to guests of all ages, ensuring a pleasant stay for everyone. - Food in the breakfast and Meze was very delicious with lots of variety for people with different restrictions. My only complaint would be here about meat/fish during dinner service - they all were overcooked. But after 2-3 nights, I had only vegetarian options and they were delicious.

FinlandIt’s a little far from any type of town center, which was perfect for us but may not be for everyone. As a plus it keeps the party crowds away.
Beautiful gardens, view to the sea from the room, squeaky clean pool, exceptionally friendly staff. Very good breakfast too, and the poolside restaurant was very accommodating with my husband’s special diet. Perfect stay. We never stay at the same hotel twice but this one may just change our mind.

RomaniaI liked the hotel's garden full of palm trees and flowers. The sea view is marvelous, specially when the sun rises. It feels like a little corner of paradise where you can recharge your soul batteries. The staff is really nice and lovely. They make you feel very welcomed. Food and drinks are tasty and there is a rich and very good breakfast.

United KingdomIf you go here I highly recommend going all inclusive. I went half board and it felt like the service was not as attentive as it was for those around me who were all inclusive.
The beach in the hotel was absolutely gorgeous! Such a lovely hotel, great variety and quality of food at breakfast.

FinlandRestaurants were great, and only minus was overcooked meat, which was often a bit dry. There was also live band playing outside one night, which was quite loud till 23, so no chance of sleeping before that.
One of the best hotels I've ever been in. I had an all inclusive sea view room in top floor which had a great view. Best thing in the hotel was massive garden, where time flew by. I was travelling on the first week of April, so there wasn't too many people. Sea was already warm enough for swimming, but I heard that swimming pool was heated 28 degrees.

Czech RepublicThe kids club wasn't open when we were there (checked in 1st of April. There was some strange noises from the ventilation in the room in the night.
This place exceeded our expectations. The staff are very friendly, the pool is good, we had two rooms connected so the kids could go between the rooms, the sea and garden is lovely, the buffet and breakfast was good.

United KingdomI have just two minor suggestions for improvement: 1. providing a filtered water tap for re-filling water bottles in order to cut down on the use of plastic. 2. providing more vegetarian/vegan sources of protein (beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc) in the buffet. But these are minor points. As noted above, the overall experience was terrific.
I don't normally write reviews, but I chose this hotel based on the terrific reviews that I read here, so I thought I would add one more to note just a few highlights: 1. Rooms: very modern, beautifully decorated, and excellent all around. There is even a pillow menu with 4 options! 2. Pool: I wouldn't describe it as "warm", but it is heated and warm enough to enjoy in early April. Note that the outdoor jacuzzi is around the same temperature as the pool. It has jets, but is not hot. 3. Sauna and steam room: These are free from 12-7pm, and they are quite hot. (I would prefer even hotter, but they are better than those at many other hotels where I have stayed). And like everything at the hotel, they look very new and are super clean. 4. Grounds: As you can see in the photos, the grounds are beautiful. You can play beach volleyball, tennis, etc. 5. Restaurants: the food is very good. For vegetarians and vegans, the default buffet often doesn't include many sources of protein (for example, I would have hoped to see more beans, chickpeas, lentils, etc). However, the chef is very friendly and accommodating if you ask. 6. Staff: everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. These are just a few points of information, on questions that I wondered about when looking at hotels. In short, I highly recommend Crystal Springs. We had high expectations based on other reviews, and they were completely met or surpassed. It was the perfect holiday.

United KingdomNO toilet on the ground floor/lobby/reception/dining room!! You have to go down a flight of steps from outside to use the pool toilets. They know this is an issue and said they are hoping to rectify it; but a considerable oversight in initial design, especially for such a good hotel.
We were there in October on their penultimate week before closure. The staff were very friendly and attentive, although we did have to ask a few times for different things at the buffet. This was very good (breakfast); with a great variety of choice, although the egg choice was a bit limited (fried or scrambled). They have a pancake/waffle station. The pool was lovely, although quite quickly in the shade, (2 pm, in October) but I'm sure in the heat of the summer, that would be either welcome or not a factor. Nice beach, which is open to the public.

United KingdomSauna and Steam room - no towels or staff visable towards end of day. Floors by sauna and steam room dangerously slippery, possibly due to communal shower door not being closed when being used. Food in main restaurant delicious but could have been warmer. Bathrobes provided showed some wear.
Previous reviews mention cleanliness - spot on. No issues anywhere. The hotel was very light and airy. Entertainment provided from early evening onwards. Lots of great food choices, branded alcohol. Good range of non-alcoholic drink options. Sparkling wine and fruit waiting in room on arrival. Bath robes and slippers provided in rooms, nice. Very pleasant and accommodating staff throughout the hotel. Kind, smiling, enthusiastic and helpful staff at beach bar. Given little pots of fresh fruit at various times - very nice. Lots of very comfortable seating options in well tendered grounds. Wonderfully relaxing and quiet but we did go mid November. Cats - a fabulous selection of hotel cats, cheeky and well looked after.

SloveniaThe spa services were absurdly expensive even with discount. We loved the experience of the tennis court, but it would need some more maintenance and uplifting. The gym was ok, but a bit on a smaller side. It would have made a difference if it was open longer - the gym was only open from 7.00 - 20.00. It was not clear if the beach towels were meant to be one per person for the whole day, or if you could change it for a fresh one if it got dirty or really wet. Most staff allowed that, but some did not.
Some of the positive surprises were - freshly squeezed orange juice all day, very nice staff, clean pool, neat gardens and great breakfast. The rooms are decent size, have all that you need and the hotel offers room cleaning twice a day. We also loved their small "library" - the hotel had some books you could borrow and read while there. The food was good, we especially happy about one day in a week when they had more chpice - some japanese and mexican food as well. It would have been even better if these "special nights" were more often. The entertainmemt was cool, some good musicians.

IsraelThe food was mid average food and it's surprising that the hotel got such a good rate but I guess everything is tasty for some people. It's my third year in a row in Cyprus (last 2 years in paphos) and the food is not like in other all inclusive resorts I have visited. Moreover, I expect an A La Cart restaurant to be better than the buffet which wasn't the case. The pool bar doesn't offer pizza in the pool bar and it's a bit strange. The alcoholic beverages were ok but as someone who has visited some all inclusive resorts I was expecting some flavor beverages in small glass bottles.
We liked the staff a lot. Except from one bitter guy in the lobby bar and the guy in charge for the towels at the pool all the staff was great, smiled and tried to give an amazing service each time. Anastasia, Amar, Eric, George, Mario, thank you for making it great. The location is good and the hotel has a nice private beach. The room was clean and there were shows every night.
