very minor cons: perhaps single use coffee or tea packets with the kettle would have been nice. The double bed was two smaller mattresses together, with a crack in the middle which isn't ideal for a couple.

Great facilities, clean, comfortable, bus stops right outside the property. The staff was helpful and attentive. Our room was exactly what I expected. Located well in the middle of the national park. Fast Wi-Fi in the hotel room. Hiking trails to the forest are adjacent to the property.

The hotel is located in a forest so it takes long to go there if you dont travel by car. But there are buses or you can walk if you like. And it is only possible to pay in a restaurant with cash which is complicated to get when you are in a forest. This is a big missing thing.

Amazing place, we rented a bungalow and we really enjoyed it. The bungalow was small, very clean and nice with everything needed and what we liked the most - the entrance to veranda from the bedroom! The view was amazing, the territory of a hotel is beautiful. We travel with a dog and being close to the forest is great, plus it was amazing to be able to just go outside and play with our dog on a grass near our bungalow. Also there is a restaurant right in front of a hotel.

We booked an apartment for extra space, but there was no sitting-out area (balcony or terrace) and no dining table and chairs. It seems there is a trade off between space and amenity, which was a shame considering it is such a nice hotel.

Pleasantly located in woodland area - much more pleasant than in Hřensko town. New stylish well appointed rooms. Nice and well equipped kitchen. Parking. Located close to bushwalking tracks (i.e. the excellent gorges, and the overrated pravčická brána)

Located in the heart of Czech Switzerland this hotel allows access to multiple nature trails in the vicinity. Comfy bungalow room, nice view with a personal terrace are nice to spend time during warm days. Nice restaurant. As of Spring 2023: For those, travelling for hikes: Be aware, that last year forest fire happened close by, large portion of the forest to the west of the hotel was burned down and is considered unsafe! Better go east!

I love the radio in the bathroom, room was nice and clean, also the teapot is very handy. Room temperature is being managed at the reception. When we arrived the room had like 1000degrees but we just asked to put it down and all good afterwards. Breakfasts were nicely served as well. Better hot than cold ;)

The noise of anyone in a room above you can be quite clearly heard below, the walks around are mostly closed or destroyed by fire, the dog charge is 15€ per night and meal portion sizes are small the cost. Although it did not add to noise the building under construction immediately next door was unsightly.

For the experience it’s quite expensive. Communication was good at the reception but forget about it in either the restaurant or breakfast buffet.

Definitely restaurant (for dinner) Breakfast is in different place which is good but the restaurant is not even okay.. The menu is insufficient. one of waiter doesn’t speak Czech and English as well. He is not capable about the kitchen.

Rooms are fine especially some of them equiped with great bath. Breakfast is good. Receptionist Barbora is the best, she is helpful. Renovated rooms are fine. Bungalows are cozy. Quiet and peaceful place.

Booked a bungalow and not only was it cute but it was well designed and furnished with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. There’s also an minibar available for affordable snacks. Their restaurant is good, has a limited menu though. The breakfast is standard fare but worthwhile.

Booked a single room with 2 separate beds, got an extra small room where it was impossible to move. No room for nothing. After complaining at the reception we had an offer to upgrage do a bigger bungalow for 11€. We have accepted, but also with a small double bed, no possibility to sleep separately. Mattress is low quality and extra soft.The other room for 3 persons was also extremely small. At the checkout the lady asked for 28 eur for the upgrade instead of the agreed 11. I told her that it wrong, then she took 11€ cash and sait it was ok. She really tried to rip off...

Everything was fine. Maybe the parking sign could be better located at first we parked next to the restaurant. Maybe the rooms in the bungalows could be better described so that everyone knows if it's just one room in the bungalow or it's the whole object.

Accommodation exceeded our expectations. We booked 2 rooms and both fulfilled their exact purpose. One was smaller, but there was everything we needed - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, locker, coat rack and TV. The second room was larger and compared to the first had a terrace and a kitchen with utensils. The behavior of the staff was great, parking right in front of the building and breakfast very tasty. Recommended!

Practically everything. I have been travelling through Czech Republic for 13 years and know lots of hotels: good and not quite so good, luxurious and basic. U Fořta tops the lot. They are simply fantastic: friendly, smiling and competent; the room was comfortable and very well-equipped. Returning from my endless walks through the Bohemian Switzerland National Park, I always found a real quiet and coziness in my room, could get a true rest I so needed. The Hajenka restaurant offers some exceptional dishes (try their kroupoto or game). To all the staff of the U Fořta resort I would like to say a big thank you :-)

The cooker was faulty and I couldn’t use it on the evening we arrived. There was only one saucepan, which makes it super hard to make a reasonable meal. The restaurant meal we ate was brought to the table cold.
