How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

On a second morning we were told we are not on the breakfast list despite having it prepaid, took us a lot of arguing to get them to re check and surprise surprise, we were on the breakfast list… Ruined our morning.

The clip on my shower was broken 😞.
It is cheap , clean and a good value for money breakfast. The restaurant connected does great Czech food and beer. It is not the ritz but for a simple hotel/pension I highly recommend.

The mattress was not the best, but even for me, who is quite picky, slept okay on it.
The location is fantastic, in the mid of the city, close to everything. The room was clean, not overcomplicated, check-in smooth and easy. I had some quiet days there, which I like. If you don't plan to spend days in the room (I was there for work) it fulfills your needs.

The shower hose was damaged, the shower base dirty and the radiators were lukewarm when turned all the way up. The room was a bit chilly because of this and it took the whole night for it to warm up.
Very friendly staff, surprisingly comfy beds, very spacious rooms, excelent beer (this is the Czech Republic after all) and very good prices.

I like the location, just next to crowded streets. The room and bathroom were large and clean. The most valuable for my trip was the price, and the place was what I paid. Very happy with the value for the money.

Breakfast was very bad. They don't respect if one is a vegetarian or non -vegetarian. Like for me they serve me pork without knowing that I don't eat pork. And also the breakfast was 6 euros while the Booking.com says it was 5 euros.
Staffs are very friendly especially at the reception.

The bed was very hard, also there was so much noise coming from the Restaurant (Wallis) so I wasn’t able to sleep the whole night.

This is a city centre location, so be prepared for noise from the street at night!

No water boiler is provided.

Felt like the walls are made of carton as there was noise coming from other rooms and corridor. Few stuff are broken in the room but they still work.

Acces to parked mc was only when restaurant was open.
Free and safe parking for motorcycle. Good prices in restaurant, did not eat there so cannot say anything anout quality. Refrigerator and waterheater in common area.

Paper thin walls. People talking felt like shouting. Worst snoring I have ever experienced from another room, heard it even through loud music in earphones.
It was OK, no other complaints. Location very good, clean.

The room with 4 beds has direct entry to bathroom, which might not be desirable for large groups of friends travelling together.
Staff was very nice, check-in of guests possible online, so when we arrived we simply paid and collected the keys. The place has good location.

Carpet seen better days, stained. No soft furnishings so quite echoey no pictures etc. Won't win any awards for style but functional.
Basic but functional and good value at 35 euro. Good traditional bar restaurant downstairs with clasic czech fare. Nice distance from old town and quiet at night.
