“The host is lovely and informative, nice restaurant with good food and nice beer. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom and it also have a pool. Nice breakfast.”
“Very quiet place. surrounded by trees. Perfect location especially if you like to hike, mountain bike, or run. The rental property is the basement/groundfloor flat of a house set on a slope, so the part facing the back is level with the garden. A real plus was the glassed in terrace/conservatory but can probably only used while it is warm enough outside. Next door is a quiet outdoor restaurant, we never managed to go for a drink or food but it had been recommended - and would be great if you want to have a drink with dinner. Much to do within 30 min drive, e.g. eat in a fabulous restaurant in France in small town called Bitche. Super friendly and helpful hosts with loads of suggestions where to go, it was possible to park on their property AND charge my EV which was a blessing as charging infrastructure is not great in the area. The house is very clean and the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped. Hosts offer wine and mineral water at cost. We had a really nice 4-night stay.”
“A homely, tastefully decorated ground floor apartment next to the house of friendly hosts Sebastian and Rebecca. Spacious airy clean rooms, a mix of retro and fresh young brand new, all you need kitchen, full bathroom, comfortable chairs and big new restful king size bed, on top of all this a cozy patio surrounded by a small wild flower garden and carefully attended kitchen herbs for you to use where it’s good to read a book and watch the sunset over the valley. Quiet street in Eppenbrunn on the hillside, lots and lots of wonderful walks. An eye for detail and quality, nice attentions everywhere, a welcoming bottle of wine and fresh flowers tell you the hosts want you to have a great stay. Which I had. W Van Lierde”
“Haus Waldesruh is a smart, clean, well kept hotel in a quiet village "off the beaten track" in a rural part of Germany that is en route if you're travelling from Calais to Switzerland, Italy, etc. The hotel has a nice bar, good parking (garages available), good food (locals come to dine in the restaurant) and beer, all at a reasonable price. What more could you want!”
