“Have stayed at this hotel previously, this time under new ownership. We had a lovely big room (apparently the biggest in the hotel) with a large bed, fridge, adjacent sitting/TV room and large bathroom with twin sinks and bidet. I booked a room with a river view balcony which was more than big enough with a view to the Mosel. Very good breakfast provided in the usual high-quality continental style with some hot food also available. The car park was opposite the hotel. Situated on the edge of Urzig which is a really pleasant village, not overly touristy with lots of walking paths and vineyards all around. Bernkastel-Kues is about a 10 min drive away. Would gladly return on our next German adventure!”

The hotel is located in a very nice area, it has a huge sunny terrace facing the river and the adjoining breakfast room also has a nice river view. The breakfast had a very good choice of fresh and dried fruits, bread, cheese, etc., all of which was very nicely served. Our room was small and it did not face the river but it was quiet at night and we did not regret because we used to come back only for the sleep. The location is good for visiting other towns in the area.”
