Hotel staff attitude was poor. Spoke to us rudely over the phone. Check in system was complex. He insisted he had sent us codes to access our room keys. That never happened. And he tried to lie his way out of it. We asked for a quiet room based on our travel requirements; he put on the the bottom floor right next to reception desk and coffee room. No Air conditioning. Not enough towels.

Location was close to heart of city. Short few minutes walk to main attractions.

It was a big hassle to get access to the hotel and the room. There was no staff at the reception - this was announced up front via email. I called the phone number as adivsed, but then it took 20min and multiple calls until finally I got access. This was very annoying to arrive on a Sat night, just wanting to drop the bag and move on and then having to wait for almost half an hour.

Lack of staff. This is an odd hotel, basically there is no-one around at the hotel. a sign on the door instructs you to check your email for instructions on how to get your door key issued from a machine. This worked but presupposed I would have data roaming on my phone switched on… for anyone else you need to do so ahead of arrival (I arrived at 17:00 so this wasn’t because I was late). As a result couldn’t use hotel allocated parking, however car park just down the street was fine and cheaper. It’s hard to rate the staff given how impersonal the entire experience is. Clearly there is no-one to help if needed . I did the emergency number but nobody answered. This might all be fine, but bear it in mind.

Location in city centre. Hotel has been recently refurbished and is quite modern, and nice. Room was smallish so might feel claustrophobic for a week stay but was comfortable.

1) I arrived late and I had instruction and a code to get in the outerdoor and to get my keycard. The panel didnt work and I had to telephone the hotel to make them do something that activated the panel before it worked. 2) They gave me a single room even though I had paid for dobbelroom for my two-night stay. The room and bed was very small and not satisfactory. I made reception aware of the mistake the first opportunity i got the following day. As compensation they offered 20 euro that I accepted as a solution but problem was they could not pay me in cash. In the end the reception called booking.com and said I would get the money from Booking.com which I accepted although I would prefer cash. However Booking.com did not give money back but instead they offered credit on another booking as compensation. That was not my wish or my understanding. So in the end I didnt get the room I payd for and the compensation was not to my satisfaction.

arrived before check in time, could not leave my luggage anywhere. when I rang the number that was on the door the person did give any solution to where I can my luggage and was rude. found hairs in bathroom sink and one of the towel and also found some hair on the bed. one of the evenings went for a shower, water was cold and there was water all over bathroom the floor. not worth the money to stay there

We had a terrible experience with this hotel. It started with checking in. It was around 10 pm, the hotel was not staffed and the door was locked. There was a note on the door instructing us to check our email for the code, which, with no wifi and a foreign phone meant roaming. I ended up having to turn on my cellular data (with roaming), but the phone number they provided responded with a message that the number was not in service. I then had to check my email messages to get that code, so with that roaming our stay became a lot more expensive, not to mention the stress. Another blow was the lack of air conditioning. It was in the middle of the summer heat. We found a stick floor fan in the room. The best it could do was to cool the room down to 31 degrees C (88 F). The photo of the fan is attached. Needless to say, we forgot about comfortable sleep for our two nights there. The third insult was the refrigerator. Not only is it barely working, but also it is placed so awkwardly that one can never really fully open it (the photo is attached). Thank you for all the stress and discomfort, acor Boutique Hotel. We won't be able to forget this trip easily.

The location is great. The suggested parking at Am Theater worked well for us.
