The wifi seems to have been hotspot (at least that's what it told me when I connected), which I guess is a little less secure. It wasn't a problem, though.

I enjoyed my room, which was a top floor one and so had a set of stairs inside. The windows were above the bed, so I could wake up seeing the sky, which really made the whole experience feel like a lovely retreat. I had everything I needed for my short stay, and the location is nicely central and a short walk away from anything I might need.

The location was very nice. Only a 5min walk to the city center. You could leave and come back whenever you’d like and the staff was really friendly.

1. The soap bottle in the bathroom was almost empty when we checked in. 2. We did not have enough lighting in the room, it was a bit dim. In general, the photos on the website are a little lightened, so the atmosphere looks a little more cheerful and modern than it really is. 3. We left a sign on the doorknob saying no cleaning, but never received a voucher for a free drink at the bar. We refused cleaning as we did not need it. We had no intention of getting a drink, but I would like to point out that the hotel itself offered a condition which it did not fulfill.

Good hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The room is spacious and furnished with everything you need (there is both work and dining table, enough cupboards). A big advantage is the kitchenette. The rooms are clean. Our windows faced the courtyard, so it was quiet. Overall our stay was very comfortable. Thank you to the staff for their friendliness! In case of a second visit to the city we are ready to stay here again!

The only let down was as a result of the weather and the lack of air conditioning.

City centre location with a good sized room with bathroom, a compact kitchenette and balcony. A good choice of breakfast with friendly staff.

The room has no air-conditioning and no screens on the windows. On the hot August nights I stayed there, I had to open the windows for comfort, but insects were able to fly in and the noise from the traffic was disturbing. Be sure to ask for a courtyard facing room if you stay in the summer.

The Acora is very close to the Mining Museum and Stadt park, and only 15 minutes walk from the Hauptbahnhof. The room was extremely clean and spacious. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, including unlimited coffee, hot options (such as eggs and pancakes), meats and cheeses and yogurt. I was very happy with the option to skip room cleaning in exchange for a free drink coupon (that included wine or beer choices)! The bed was comfy, the pillows plentiful and the shower strong with excellent temperature. And everything was super clean! Although I didn't use the gym, it looked well-equipped. The grassy courtyard was a nice location for aperativo. Overall, a very good value for the price.

1. No air co in the room, it gets really hot one of the two nights 2. No air co means window open, which is not always a bad thing, but our room faces the main street so the traffic gets quite loud and disturbing.. 3. "One large double bed" means 2 single beds.combined....but they are comfy.

Small complaint. The hotel needs to change its hairdryers. They are located in the bathroom. You can’t move them. You can not use the hairdryer without holding the on button and worst, after 3 minutes use they overheat. You then have a 5 minute wait for it to cool down before being able to use again. This processes is repeated over and over in order to dry your hair. Frustrating.

It’s location worked for my needs. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they off good size rooms.

In the past we always had a slightly bigger room, with a kettle, microwave, etc. This time the room was much smaller, no kettle, etc. slightly disappointed remembering rooms we had before.

We have stayed in this hotel fairly often. Love the location, lovely staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

The room was cleaned, but stuffy and hot. I had to sleep with the window open. My room faced the street, so it was naturally loud. The pillowcases were also an uncomfortable fabric, not plain cotton.

The breakfast was great and you got a free drink (soft drink, coffee or tea) if you skipped having your room cleaned, which was a nice little incentive.
