The towels had black stains. There was only one bottle of shampoo/shower gel that was uncovered and seemed to have been refilled so many times. Hand soap seemed to be refilled with the same liquid . So take your own toiletries with you !

It was our last day in Bavaria, after a week touring from the Black Forest. Had to see the Neuschwanstein Castle, but be at Munich Airport the following day for a flight home. Worked like clockwork ! Staff eager to please, nothing too difficult. Hotel and Restaurant run separately, but everything seamless. Excellent meal in the restaurant, after lots of walking, and the morning breakfast was wonderful.

To be honest, nothing to complain. A nice stop during a road trip. The restaurant downstairs is good. Staff did not speak too much English, so don't expect to meet any special demands with your food. But the menu was in German and English, so absolutely no problem. Delicious food and large portions, perfect after a day of travel. The room was comfy and warm (make sure to adjust the thermostat on the radiator to your liking). Beds, pillows, bathroom, hot shower, cleanliness - really, nothing to complain. Breakfast is simple and satisfactory. Eggs are cooked fresh for you as you like them (maybe because there were not too many guests when we visited). Big thank you to the staff for calling us when a member of the family forgot their phone in the room.

The restaurant was closed but we understood the issues with Covid restrictions.

The location was great. Plenty close enough to the castles and easy to navigate to. The room was spotless. Plenty of privacy and no noise.. The hostess was delightful and provided a great breakfast with fresh cooked eggs and the normal continental breakfast items.. The bathroom was plenty large enough and not cramped like some European hotel rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were a little hard to find (I believe they are understaffed as of writing this), the breakfast was a little limited, not a lot of restaurants in the area so we had to drive to Fussen for dinner, the shower temperature was inconsistent.

The kettle (so many hotels only offer a coffee machine), the fridge, the peace and quiet both in our room and the surrounding area, the heating, the room was huge, the lighting fixtures were unusually cool, the view was beautiful. Overall, a very functional and relaxing, great value for money hotel.

1. you need to drag suitcases up the stairs 2. there is practically no Internet 3. there is cold water dripping in the shower 4. there is no refrigerator or telephone in the room 5. breakfast is poorly organized and I had to beg for everything. The coffee machine did not work and the eggs ran out and I had to solve all these issues .

The room was very small and therefore the bed was put in a direction where you had to climb over your partner when getting up during the night. Very uncomfortable because waking up your better half is obviously not received well. In addition the food in the Restaurant, that shares the main entrance, was one of the worst on our 3 weeks trip through Europe. Service was good, but they need a new cook.

No warm water in the whole morning of Sunday, the hotel staff said it was because of the War, the water heater was broken and they didn't get the alert. I cannot figure out what this has to do with the war, we are in Germany.
