Our room had a sloping roof and my partner is 196cm tall, so it wasn't that comfortable for him (We didn't think of requesting a room without it when we booked, though). Also, the stairwell was a little too low for him, he hit his head a couple of times when walking downstairs :(

The best part was for sure breakfast: high quality, tasty food, and coffee, perfect to kick off a full day of hiking. The room was spacious, the balcony had a nice view, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were tidied up every day. It was great to have a minibar, too.

We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was a wonderful size and had a pullout sofa, but not as large as the photos made it appear. We actually thought there was a door that separated the sleeping area (which is what we wanted) based on the description "one bedroom" rather than "studio". That may be a difference in room descriptions in Germany, so that was my fault for misunderstanding. This room was right on the street. So, it was a bit noisy anytime people or cars passed by anytime of day. The neighbourhood is generally very quiet, but this room also sits near the front hotel parking area and the sidewalk, so we heard everything. We would have loved a hot pot/water kettle in the room for hot water and instant coffee/tea, however, coffee and tea were available downstairs for most of the day for free. You just had to get dressed and go downstairs to get it. Would have loved some sort of curtain or closure on the otherwise really wonderful shower. They have a lovely view of the mountains from the patio, but we did not see any outdoor seating on the patio for enjoying the view. (Or maybe not at this time of the year? But the weather was absolutely amazing at the end of March.)

This was a super cute boutique hotel not far from the train station, restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast staff even bought us some chicken for breakfast, because we don't eat pork and there were only pork options at breakfast (along with salmon, some veggies, some oatmeal, cheeses, some fruits, and some bread). The staff was very attentive and helped us in any way we needed. The entire place is spotless and welcoming. The little fridge in the room with a lot of place for hanging and storing clothes was nice! I feel confident in recommending this lodging.

Everything was perfect, such a nice hotel, exactly what you expect from a mountain hotel. Well decorated rooms with a nice terrace, breakfast had also everything one needs to start a good day. We would definitely come back here if we can.

No services after 7 pm being a family run hotel. Our room was cramped up, no free space, sloping ceiling in room takes away space to move, no proper directions given on phone to reach the hotel( as our net on mobile was not working)

We liked the location which is close to Garmish railway station and Zugpitze train station and main bus-stand, the staff was smiling and helping, the breakfast was elaborate and tummyfull, cleanliness was maintained all through. And the breathtaking view of mountains...

Everything! If you are planning to take a bus to visit linderhof or the neuwanstein castle, ask the staff about the visitor pass and all the bus fees are free! Location: When you get off from the train station, turn right and keep going straight for 5 mins, and you will see the hotel!
