Some features are a bit dated like the carpets. The towels in the room were very old and thin, should be updated.

Most of the staff are kind, I repeat, but we had a problem with one person, he complaint a lot because we show up earlier than expected, but I have to say that we were told that we could show up at that time. The person that was in the reception the previous night told us we could do it because we have to leave the hotel soon. So the person that was opening the breakfast buffet was really disrespetful and rude. I know that not everybody is like this, but this episode make me angry and awkward.

I only have one recommendation. Please put kettles and mugs in the rooms. One evening it began to rain. We were sitting on the patio and wanted some hot tea. Thankfully, I had brought tea bags with us and we went to the front desk and asked for two cups of hot water. Front desk obliged our request and we had our hot tea on the balcony. One of my favorite memories!

Our family of five booked this property just to be close to both castles, Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein. Little did we know that the town of Oberammergau was the town where they perform the passion play every decade. Such interesting history. The town is so charming, quiet, peaceful and our hotel was centrally located in it. You can explore the shops, rent bikes, have a coffee, find live music, dine on a patio. And it’s all tucked away in the Bavarian Alps. Just Beautiful. Our rooms were very cozy, with a nice balcony overlooking the town.

Booked a superior room. Toilet was in the shower cubicle (!). Also in the rear of property so newer but not great. Bottled water in the room cost 2,50! No hot drinks in room - kettle or coffee maker. Expensive for what it was

Beautiful room with some light dust/crumbs in the desk chair. There was some construction on the adjacent lot. Luckily the room is well insulated, and the noise was no issue.

The smell of the food prepared in the citchen was everywhere in the hotel. This needs to be fixed. Otherwise a perfect place to stay !

We stayed for two nights. The first night we had a room in the annexe at the back of the hotel. The room needed updating and it was inconvenient having the bed located in a loft. The dinner menu was not particularly inviting and our meal not great quality.

The hotel is perfectly located in the very cute town of Oberammergau, a much better choice than staying in Garmisch Partenkirchen. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, very good quality and excellent choice.

Specious room with mezzanine and large terrace. In the middle of town with shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurantat is wonderful. The staff very friendly. Breakfasts plentiful and to everyone’s choice and taste. Great area for walking and rambling.

The food at the restaurant is ok, but not excellent. There is an elevator, but some of the rooms have extra stairs that may be problematic for people with limited mobility.

Charing station for electric cars available in the parking lot, that was great. The hotel in general is nice, however the breakfast is alway the same all days so you will get bored if staying long enough. The location is just excellent! in the very downtown of the village and in 1 hr reach of many attractions by car. Would love to return in Winter to enjoy al the ski related activities, but summer was also good to visit.

No air conditioning in room, however thermostatic floor heating and fan provided. Large openable windows, however no flyscreens. Double bed is two single beds pushed together.

Lovely modern room, beautifully fitted and furnished; small, but comfortable for 2 people; very clean. Quality accommodation in the centre of this beautiful small village. Free parking on site. Superb smorgasbord breakfast with extensive options.
