As the hotel might be old, there is no lift. so it might be bit hard for some people.

The location was also close to the station, 5 minutes, so I was able to get there without getting lost. I was also able to walk to the entrance of the old town in 5 minutes. There was also a supermarket within walking distance, so it was nice to be able to buy souvenirs. The staff were friendly, and even the staff who couldn't speak English used translation software to help me communicate with them, which made me very happy. As everyone said, there was so much to choose from for breakfast and it was so good. The food at the hotel restaurant was German and delicious. The room was a good combination of modern and vintage, and the bathtub was large and the water pressure was perfect. The whole my family enjoyed staying at this hotel.

For many Americans, the breakfast might be a little underwhelming, but we are just weird and like to have massive feasts in the morning.

The hotel is in a excellent location! Across the street from the hotel is free parking. The parking lot is large and I had no issues finding a spot. The train station is a short walk away. The Old City Center is also a short walk away in a straight path so that you don't get lost. The walk is amazing since it takes you through the old city gate overlooking the moat. Since the hotel is just outside of the Old City, there are several restaurants to choose from. The restaurants in the Old City will fill up quickly and may require reservations for dinner.

When I wanted to take a shower, I had to hold the shower hose because the attachment to the wall was broken. Also not ideal that there wasn't any dinner on Tuesday, considering there weren't many options in the city in the off-season (late-January)

The room was good, but small. Room temperature was slightly cold when I arrived, but I could warm it up. The breakfast was good as well. Good hospitality too.

Our room came with a bath and a low shower attachment which for us was not ideal. A kettle in the room for us is always a welcome addition.

A comfortable room with a very comfortable bed, Easy access to the room via the side entrance to the accommodation with our own key. The room was tidy and clean. A good range of options at breakfast. Very close to the station and also to the beautiful old town. The female staff member at breakfast was extremely helpful in finding a way to solve our transport problems after we found out no trains were leaving on our departure day due to a strike.

Only 5 a minutes walk from the city walls of historic Old Town Rothenburg, which is more than fabulous. To us, this was better than staying in the Old Town, as we were driving and didn't want to spend time looking for (expensive) parking. The room was basic, and the opportunity to make a cup of coffee in the room instead of having to go and get it in the restaurant at a cost of Euro 3,50 would have been nice. But we really liked the place and the good vibes from the staff. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on our first night, and let's just say, that we were happy that there were other options for dinner on our second night ;-) Breakfast was very very good, and the lady who prepared it was wonderful with a big smile and a show of pride in her job. We left with a smile on our faces, and would not hesitate staying there again.
