Was roadworks outside hotel and the noise of sirens was non stop although this was berlin in general and not the hotel.

The air conditioning barely worked, it was quite stuffy all the time and we weren't able to chill the room. The shower was leaking onto the floor a bit.

We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The hotel also had a small gym with a few treadmills, some dumbbells — nothing special, but it's good enough. We ordered room service once and were given a couple coupons for free drinks at the lobby bar :)

Perhaps the mini fridge could have been a bit more capable, so that to easily accomodate also food. Also missing was the usual little Nespresso compatible coffee maker.

The room was of a good size. I travelled alone but it would have been comfortable for a couple as well. The bathroom was a good size as well. Nice touch to have a disposable items there as a comb, toothpaste, etc.

The reception staff were nice and friendly, less helpful than reception staff I’ve dealt with in other countries.

Everything was fine.

Great location close to Mitte, Friedrichshain, restaurants, clubs, shopping. We took scooters or bikes to get around and there's a metro stop across the street. Great Kurdish restaurant around the corner: Erbil. Night shop next door is convenient too. Room was fine, comfortable and large bed.

The service was a bit slow

Catalonia Hotel is placed in Mitte, one of the liveliest areas in Berlin. Fair distance to most attractions, easily reachable by public transport and multiple choices to eat. Property has comfortable rooms with vibrant design.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice inner yard and interesting lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient for our clubbing trip. I would consider this place on next trips.

Only complaint was that temperature control was set to maximum when we arrived and so room was boiling. Turned it to cold but took ages to realise that still blew out warm air. Turned it off completely and opened window and all was fine after a while.

Great location. Hotel was very good. Only had breakfast one but there's a very wide selection & food was lovely. Price seemed very reasonable. Staff helpful.

Had trouble sleeping as the pillows were too soft, that's about the only thing I can think of. But it wouldn't put my off staying

Hotel is very bespoke, which has an alluring charm. Hotel was very clean, staff were always friendly and happy to help. Location was ideal, not far from U8 subway.

Stay away from the dinner options in the evening. It’s a fast food version of what you expect to get by reading the menu. One night the fire alarm went crazy on my floor and room. Despite a lot of staff being present, nobody put off the alarm for more than an hour. Having a huge migraine attack it was really the worst experience…

I liked the breakfast a lot (everything home madr) and the good location. At the breakfast there was a chef who makes custom pancakes or omelette. The staff is really friendly.

The room was very warm, so we had to keep the windows open which wasn’t ideal as we were in a very busy and sometimes noisy road.

The room was very hot. Bar didn't have my drink choices. Only a plug on one side of the bed so only one phone could be charged at s time unless put in the bathroom..

The price of breakfast. I don’t even eat that much in the morning so it felt like a waste of money.

We stayed only a few days but we wish we could stay more. The staff was friendly, the room has everything we needed and bathroom was spacious and very elegant. The location is the biggest plus of this hotel. It’s central, so within walking distance to where the action happens, yet the rooms are well isolated from any noise.
