It took a while to work out how to turn on the TV as it was digital and had two remote controls but you will get the hang of it with some practice. Maybe a small fridge could be added to the rooms to keep drinks cold especially in the summer months. We had an early flight on the morning of our departure and we did ask the reception if a small take away breakfast could be provided for us but they forgot although we did manage to have a quick bowl of cereal before we had to leave.Communication between shift changeover staff at reception could be better, however, apart from that our stay was excellent. As mentioned above the hotel was a 3 star in my opinion and I felt a bit overpriced, however, I do appreciate that it is not cheap to stay in major European cities these days.

The location was excellent to reach the city center as it was only a 15 minute walk to the cathedral area and Hauptbanhof .The local metro station (Ebertplatz) was also a short walk from the hotel so it was very easy to explore the outer areas and reach the Rhein Energie stadium to see FC Koln play. The hotel was a 3 star rating in my opinion and of good quality with a helpful 24 hr reception desk with staff who were helpful and spoke pretty good English. Our room was number 60 on the sixth floor (accessible via a reliable but small lift) was clean, quiet (apart from our last night when noisy other guests were returning to their rooms late ) and comfortable with a good quality TV and a decent shower with regular hot water, it even had a balcony with good views of the magnificent cathedral.Our beds were made every day and clean towels and toilet paper also replaced daily which was excellent. We enjoyed our daily breakfast; there were cereals, toast and jams, croissants and pastries as well as various hams cheeses as well as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages from a heated server plus tea and coffee so we started our days sightseeing with full stomachs. There are plenty of good quality restaurants and bars around the hotel; we had excellent and very large portioned meals each evening.....visitors will not go hungry in Cologne !!

The entrance looked dubious but inside the hotel was clean and comfortable.

The staff were attentive and very efficient. Breakfast was generous and served in a pleasant room. We were within easy reach of the city centre by local train.

What was shown in the picture wasn't what we got exactly: - we didn't have a view of the church - the bathroom had a place where it was covered with duct tape for repairs - the bathroom wasn't the same exactly as in the picture - the furniture in the room was also not exactly as from the picture (we didn't have couches, but two cushionless chairs) - when we checked in the receptionist just said "wait" to do something else briefly in an unfriendly manner

Location to the city was good. Just around the corner were multiple restaurants.

In the description was mention that the hotel has parking zone and when we arrived they said they dont and we had to go in a paid parking zone 10mins walking away from hotel.

In the roon was clean, bathroom was ok, and the location is great, 10mins of walking up to Dom.

everything in room needs to upgrade. we got a room with a sad small monitor tv, pillows were empty/ not soft and we got two single blankets when we ordered for 1 double bed room. the room is spacious though but furniture could use refreshing.

It’s an OK hotel, we were a group and booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Beds and pillows need serious updating, not comfortable at all. Rooms were spacious but looked a bit dated. the hotel offers parking in a roofed area out front of the property, so that’s pretty handy. location is central, and quite good.

Breakfast is very basic. Should use a coffee machine ( Fresh or Capsules ) at a price for 12.90 Euro. Their filter coffee is poor ( too strong, bitter )

Single rooms very small. I asked for a king bed after arrival and they give me another room 4x the size of the first one. Staff friendly .

Parking is not for free (15€/day) and if you would like to park around the hotel is really difficult. When we arrived and tried to enter our room, we found out that the lock was broken and we had to wait to get a new room.

Despite the fact that it is a 15 min walk from the cathedral, it is through pedestrian areas with a lot of people. Very nice breakfast. Kind staff.

The breakfast was very good! The staff also gave us a bag of Christmas cookies. The hotel is also very well located: It is near a metro and bus stop, and only 15 mins from the Köln Dom and the train station.

Would have liked a kettle in the room. Parking was nearly an issue as was promised parking at 2pm and on arrival, was told no parking was available. When I questioned this, parking spaces were found.

Breakfast was lovely and the location was great- 10 minutes to the Dom on foot. Easy access to the centre. Rooms were spacious. Lovely leaving Christmas gift on checking out.
