Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomSoundproofing! The people next door were loud and I could hear everything; tv, phone conversations, coughing etc. Fortunately I was prepared with earplugs! The room was smaller than the photos and there wasn't much room around the basin for toiletries - not a problem as I was travelling alone but for two people these could be issues. Coffee capsules replaced each day would be better than just two for the first day!
Location was central and all the main sites achievable by foot. The room was kept very clean. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. Staff were friendly and responsive. Good value compared to other Madrid options.

United StatesThe biggest problem was that the staff did not provide correct beds as requested, even though request was confirmed. Check-in, check-out, and breakfast were located at another property few minutes away, which was not a big problem. But the lack of reception on property made it very difficult to ask questions and to fix problems. A bit annoyed that only one regular and one decaffeinated coffee pod were provided in the room, when there were two guests. And only for the first night. Nothing was provided for the second night.

United StatesThe breakfast was good, but often the coffee was gone and items were not restocked 1/2 hour before breakfast was over. If you got there early, there was more food, but coffee was always an issue.
Desk staff were VERY helpful! The refrigerator in the room was great to have. The location was excellent - close to Plaza Major, Plaza del Sol and a reasonable walk to Retiro as well. We were able to have a bag of laundry done for us for just 8 Euro. Street had everything you'd want on it.

This hotel is located very close to the center of Madrid, to main attractions, and to the metro station. It's really easy to get to the airport. Very quiet. In rooms you have everything you need for your short stay. Nice breakfast, lots of bakery, and fruits, but not enough cheese/sausages. I'd recommend to improve it. Responsive staff. Personnel at the reception were always friendly. The room is cleaned upon request, but since I asked for it daily, the staff cleaned it up well. The only thing is that sometimes girls forgot to put toilet paper in.
