Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hotel is located next door to a cafe that converts into a nightclub after dark. Didn’t appreciate the bouncers outside and neither did I appreciate the thumping music every night until 6am. On one evening a drunken woman semi clad also managed to get into the hotel and sit on the stairs begging for money. Really not good

Perfekt location at Karlsplatz. Short walk to Marienplatz and Sendlinger Tor Train S8 and S9 directly to and from the Airport stops at Karlsplatz. Did not order breakfast, but enjoyed a very nice bakery next door.

United StatesThe beds were too firm, and the pillow was not comfortable.
Hotel Daniel is a pretty basic hotel, but it's good for what it is. My mom and I rented the "Comfort Double Room" which had two single beds pushed together, but we were able to separate them into two beds. Our window was able to fully open as a door to the shared balcony outside. Overall the room was pretty clean. There is an elevator to get to upper floors, but you still need to go up a step to get to the elevator, and once we were on our floor, we had to go up a step to get to our room. The location is pretty good, because just outside the door is an entrance to the underground area where you can catch the U-banh, S-banh, and more. The main train station and Marienplatz are both about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. We only briefly spoke to the front desk staff, but they were always friendly and helpful.

A very comfortable room and thanks to the location of the room with the windows facing an internal street, there was a perfect silence. Also cleanliness, warm hearted staff and of course the location of the hotel. In addition, near the entrance to the hotel there is an Italian restaurant, and a McDonald's a minute's walk away, which work until late hours.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Check in and out was pleasent, we were able to leave our luggage there and to hang out waiting for a bus. Location is exeptional! Especially when we got a quiet room with a window not directed to the main street.
