Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThere is no parking at the Hotel. Had to park 10 minute walk away. The TV in the room did not work, do to no siganl. Upholster could use a cleaning. Could barely get into the shower, since the toilet blocks the door from opening. Light over the sink not working.

United KingdomNo mirror in the room. No t bags or coffee or milk or sugar. Only a kettle and cups. Shared bathroom for shower was out of use by more selfish other residents for a long time. They did make up and hair chatting for ages… and did not consider other guests. To reduce the risk of this happening; a mirror in the room would be helpful. A bit cold at night and would have liked an over throw or thicker duvet.

GermanyWe knew we had a shared bathroom and that was fine but it was a shame there was no lock on the door.
The hotel with a delightful restaurant is in a lovely location and it is easy to get into the centre of Heidelberg by tram. The room which my son and I slept in was very basic, quiet and had 2 beds which we wanted. It was also great to have a kettle so we could have a cup of tea in the morning. The check in was easy and fast which we liked. We asked the owner if we could leave our luggage the next day while we looked around Heidelberg and we picked it up later which was very kind of him.

GermanyThe staff were overworked and super busy, as indicated in previous reviews. I was checked in to my actual booking for a room with the shared bathroom. At that time the bathroom had all kinds of repair equipment inside, and the staff said this will be cleaned up in 30 minutes and he disappeared. I waited for an hour to use the bathroom, and still there was no change. So then I had to go back to complain and finally they gave me a free upgrade! These 2 rooms were quite different from each other, in terms of look and design, and they also belonged to different buildings. I guess you have to pay more to get the good room :)
My original booking was for a room with shared bathroom, I was given a free upgrade to a beautiful family room as the common bathroom was under repair. I appreciate the kind gesture offered by the staff. Apart from that, the restaurant was great for dinner, the facilities at the hotel were pretty good and classy. I would love to go back and stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

MalaysiaIf the staff had not been as great as they were, we would have given the room a 5 as it is overpriced, and what we got didn't reflect the description on Booking.com. The room was clean but dated. We had booked the family suite which was supposed to have 2 bedrooms and a living room according to the description on Booking.com. However, it only had 1 bedroom, and there were 5 beds in the living room, 2 in a small bedroom and no second bedroom. We were with 4 people (initially with 5), and even so, they had put an extra roll away bed in the living room and pushed the sofa into a corner. The curtains didn't bock out the light from the windows as they weren't completely covering, and the light in the hall shone through the glass pane in the door at night making it hard to fall asleep and causing us to wake up very early in the morning. There was no soap in the shower (so no toiletries as mentioned in the description), the toilet flusher was broken and kept on running, and the sink in the bathroom didn't empty. Someone came to fix it and pulled out a long thick strand of something black. He put a bucket under the sink as it kept on leaking a bit. He also fixed the toilet flusher, but left the lid lying on the floor. The shower was ok but looked old and had mould along the ceiling. We also didn't see a coffee maker, but it may have been in one of the cupboards. The smell from the pizzeria blew in through the windows when they were open. There was also a wedding party going on during the second day, which was very noisy. We wanted to go for breakfast on the first day around an hour before the buffet would close, but most of the food had been eaten, so we went to have breakfast outside. It could be that they were going to replenish it, but we didn't stay long enough.
The place is quirky and cozy. Unfortunately it rained when we were there, but I'm sure it would look beautiful in the sunshine. The staff were super friendly, and helpful, although their English (and my German even more) was limited.

GermanyIt's very noisy when people went up and down stairs. In the night, some people came back home late, you can hear their sound clearly although they are in upstairs. It's very easy to wake up. The service is not quite good. I didn't see the reception when I checked out. I have to wait and ask if anyone can help.
The transportation is good. I can take line 5 or line 26 to go the hauptbahnhof strasse.

BulgariaI'd been stayed at DAS LAMM for 2 nights at my second time in heidelberg. I love this place because it is quiet, clean and comfortable for a short stay durung the Christmas markets in the bustling Heidelberg. This time I was accommodated in a large bedroom with lovely bathroom. The room was warm and clean. The bed was comfy. Das Lamm is located not in the very heart of Heidelberg and that makes so calm and pleasent. There is a tram stop of tram number 5 and 26 which leads you to the Bismark place for 10-15 minutes. There is also tram 26 which runs to the Railway Station. There are a few lovely bakeries around which offer a good breakfast. There is a good restaurant inside the hotel. They offer italian dishes which value for money. There is also a Penny market a few hundred metres from the property. Deffinitely I will be back next winter.
