You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CanadaThere was construction outside my room for 24 hours a day, all night. It was noisy and therefor could not sleep. When I checked in I questioned the construction, no one told me it was 24 hours per day, that means ALL night. I could have checked into another hotel to get some sleep.
The hotel was okay, but not great value.

NetherlandsOnly one thing, the air-conditioned system had a little mold in it. That should be cleaned.
There were multiple things we'd very much liked... The bathroom was very big, nice and clean. Also the bed was nice, we've slept like roses. Excellent breakfast, so much choice and tasted really good. We had a nice view on the church across the street. I think we couldn't find a better hotel than this!!

The room was far from what was expected when compared to the photo's shown in Booking.com The extra large double bed was two single mattresses in a box (which was painful when getting in and out of) The breakfast was fine but you had to get up early if you wanted the choices available, there was a bare minimum amount of everything. The location was ok, if you liked the sound of trams outside your room from early in the morning to late at night. What looked like a hidden refrigerator turned out to be an empty box, which was used as a table for the television, the television was dangerously hanging over the side and the plug was pulling the socket out of the wall. The bathroom had a box fixed to the wall which housed the sink, the box only had one door so the unprofessional pipework was clearly visible whilst you sat on the toilet which you must do with caution or you will collide with it and injure yourself. The most disappointing ( or should I say embarrassing) welcome I have ever encountered in all of my travels was a welcoming gift on the bed, which consisted of a 50 cent packet of HARIBO's

NetherlandsThe lady at the reception was awful, didn’t make you feel welcome at all, even if I spoke German, everything seemed to bothered her. Only the restaurant staff was nice and helpful. I don’t know if I would go back to that place, it felt overpriced for what it offered, and since it was high season and Documenta they can do whatever they want.
The room was super clean and spacious. The location was great, specially if you are there for Documenta.

NetherlandsRestaurant was closed; without reason. Was told that Covid Test center was free, but unfortunately it wasn’t for non-German residents. Decor in breakfast room seemed a bit cold, not welcoming. And tables were very low.
Superior room was very comfortable, with some luxury elements. It was also very clean. Perfect for our needs.

United StatesEverything was great. It was a little noisy from front windows on busy street but that’s been my experience in any hotel in Kassel.
Location great short walk to train station and short walk to the museums and exhibitions we came to see! Impeccably clean. Amazing nice staff. Great breakfast. And loved the room for three. Great for three travelers or couple with a child or teenager. I loved that you could open windows and the room had multiple windows. Bright airy spacious feeling in the room we booked. It was a larger room but there are I saw smaller ones.
