Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

FinlandNothing. Our contact did not speak English, but we managed to understand each other.
Good location for Europa-Park. The unit has 3 apartment, we stayed at the middle one, which was spacious and very clean. The unit is right by the river, with a nice and well maintained yard, including a covered swimming pool that is free to use. Everything you can need for a short stay was available, including kitchen utensils. Very friendly and kind owner (altough she didnùt speak English). A wonderful experience.

United KingdomWIFI signal wasn't the best.
The owners were soo warming and welcoming, it was overwhelming, willing to go the extra mile and it did not matter that we didnt speak the same language, There was a pool which was very quiet and often had it to ourselves. it was a great place for my autistic daughter to chill out after a busy day at Europa park. Shower was very good. Apartment very Clean.

ItalyWhat a lovely christmas we spent at Ferienwohnung Latscha apartment. The lady is so friendly and nice, she made us feel very welcome (including our dog) and happy of choosing her apartment. The apartment is close to Europark and they can help you with tickets. We actually came to visit cities around like Strasbourg and Colmar and it worked really well, we also visited Freiburg that is only half our from the apartment. You can find supermarkets very close and the apartment is complete with everything you might need. Danke shon!!

NetherlandsThe lady was very friendly and showed us the room. It was a personal welcome. The rooms (including bathroom) are very clean and comfortable. Europa park is nearby, easy access by car (around 8 minutes) and you'll avoid the highway A5 (and therefore traffic jam) in the morning and evening if you go to EP. I can recommend to everyone!

BelgiumActually nothing. Everything was great. Only maybe shutters to completely darken the room.
Very friendly! The owners did everything to make you comfortable. You can ask anything. You can borrow bicycles for free to cycle to Europa Park. Location is great! The swimming pool is very nice (can also be covered). Room is good. Enough space. Beds are comfortable. I absolutely recommend this stay if you want to visit Europa Park. You can't get better value for money :)

Nice holiday appartement with a lovely pool to relax in after a day at Europapark. Really friendly owners, free parking in front of the building and free bicycles available, it's about 10 mins cycling to Europapark. Great stay!
