Receiving a message on the day of check in to inform me that I would be charged 30 euros for checkout after 9pm and telling me to cancel my booking if I’d show up after 10pm. I’d have appreciated to be informed earlier

Staff was friendly but not very attentive, instead of manning the reception they were all outside smoking etc. like of course one does not pay for excellent service at the price point, but at the same time it wasn’t cheap, and the service could have been better.

Great location, free parking and the hotel room was somewhat decent, it as a hotel was okay but not more than that. Location is great, and it’s easy to get into the city.

Decoration with no particular style, no electric kettle and no safe in the room, the carpet in our room was stained, no air conditioning.

Quiet hotel in a safe sector, large room (I had booked the junior suite, with a sofa space), confortable, overlooking the park, walking distance from the thermal center (7 min) from the casino (7 min) and the city center (10-15 min), pleasantly walking through the park. There are 4 free parking spaces within the hotel compound if you arrive in time, if not, 8 euros per night, still in the hotel. Breakfast seemed ok, but we did not try it.

As others have mentioned, after booking the junior suite with sofa bed, you are informed that you will be charged €35 to sleep in the sofa bed. The property also advertises free parking, but there are only 4 free spots; all other cars (ie, most guests) must pay €12 per night. Even with the fees it was still the best option for our family, but it was not pleasant to encounter fee after fee.

There is no night staff and if you have questions for your room or need access to check in after 20:00 then you have to call someone. The receptionists that I called about accessing my WiFi after hours was very rude when I had a simple question.

Clean, quiet hotel, 15min walk from Wiesbaden. Friendly staff. On site parking. No restaurant but an upmarket Italian next door. Closeby are other restaurants with many more 15 min walk away in the city centre. Close to the beautiful Kuranlagen and Kurpark parks and it is a very pleasant walk to town through these parks.

The hotel needs attention. Carpets in the hallways are torn, stained walls, staircase and elevator are dirty and need sweeping and paint. This is what you first see on your way to your room. A bad impression. We had two rooms on different floors so a good look around. Tubs are very slippery when wet, not unusual but a grab bar is needed. My mom is 80 and it was dangerous. No table or chairs on the balcony. The windows are large and beautiful but they open into the room so you lose all the space in the room. The beds are quite low and then the mattresses are extra thin and soft. Not comfortable or easy to get on and off. No coffee or tea until 08:00- a kettle in the room would be nice. No English TV channels - for an international city one at least would be good. Even the German was limited for news.

The reception staff were fabulous. A plus to the hotel. Parking was great to have a space included in the price. Rooms were large.

The room was of good size with enough place for family with kids. Breakfast was good. Receptionist was very friendly. We felt us welcoming. There are 4 free parking places near hotel. you can also park along the road or to pay for parking in the garage. There is a park near the hotel and the surroundings are very nice with its own atmosphere. I can recommend this hotel.

I liked it all....... but it must be noted "communal facilities" are limited. This is a well run "functional" hotel.

Friendly, clean hotel with wifi and on site parking. Reasonably priced mini-bar. Not far to walk (15mins) to the city centre. No onsite restaurant but an upmarket Italian next door and lots of restaurants in the city centre.

No air conditioning -- the day I arrived, temps in Wiesbaden had been in the mid-90s...luckily the hot spell broke that night and I was comfortable with the windows open and a fan. It would have been impossible to stay there during the height of the previous weeks' heat wave, I would think. The English-language material about the hotel on Booking.com does not mention air conditioning...mea culpa for not spotting that -- the hotel's website is only in German and I can't tell if there is any sort of warning about the lack of air conditioning. With the windows open, there is some traffic noise, especially in the morning.

Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, large room, all aspects of my room and the hotel were very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Although hotel is located about a kilometer from the edge of the city center, it is in a very green area with beautiful old buildings, and several cafes/bakeries and two restaurants within easy walking distance. There is excellent bus service within a five minute walk of the hotel that goes straight to the train station and to most of the major attractions in the city center. Breakfast was very good and serving hours, from 7 to 10, were very convenient. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel that is considered one of Wiesbaden's best Italian restaurants...unfortunately they were on vacation during my stay.

There was no bolt or chain on the room door. As a solo female traveler, this extra security would have put me a little more at ease while sleeping. That said, I had no issues and the hotel and the surrounding area felt very safe.

The bed was one of the most comfy hotel beds I've ever stayed on.
