Rooms were very warm due to the heatwave. Fans should be (automatically) in all rooms during such high temperatures. We had to request a fan for one of our two rooms.

It would’ve been nice if the hotel had it’s own parking spaces, but there’s a supermarket parking nearby.

Perfect location in a 2-minute walking distance from the waterfall entrance. Very good restaurants and ice-cream shops right in front of the hotel. Very cozy hotel with a soul, exceptionally clean and quiet. Great breakfast for the hotel's level. A large public parking lot right next to the hotel, 9 Euro per 24 hours. Important to know: you can only pay for parking cash and in coins, the mashine doesn't accept even banknotes. One general thing about the place: there are almost no local restaurants or shops accepting bank cards - be prepared to pay in cash. The hotel location is also perfect in the sense it is in the same building with a bank :). One more plus to the hotel: as a guest, you receive a free wasserfall entrance ticket.

Thankfully we were given the room early, outside check-in hours, so we were able to leave our bags and go sightseeing without any worries. It has a very big and comfortable bed

The accessibility to reach the reception through a very small elevator can be both a little confusing and slightly difficult if one has luggage. It is not a typical hotel with regular reception or room service but that was not really an issue for us. It could be for someone who might need something at an odd hour but maybe there is an arrangement for that which I am not aware of.

This is a property with a great location. My partner and I were on a one day visit to Triberg and we couldn't have stayed at a more centrally located place. The view from our balcony was beautiful...a mix of both the city center and the Schwarzwald in the background. Our room was comfortable and we didn't have any problems with either checking in or while checking out. The breakfast was a modest yet decent spread of a typical German breakfast. We would definitely recommend this place for a one or two night stay.

Very nice place with friendly staff, tasty breakfast and great location. They gave us a card as a nice bonus to get free entrance to museums and the waterfall.

The hotel was centrally located and was easy to get to many attractions and food on foot. Bettina was awesome! She was very welcoming, and gave us some good spots for food.

I liked everything about this hotel. Only thing I missed in the hotel room was a Kettle but when I asked for one they gave us one immediately. The staff are super nice and very pet friendly. My little dog just loved the stay and we too.

walk out the door to downtown, the fFalls trail is 2 blocks up the street. nice big terrace for a glass of wine or a beer, nice breakfast as well.
