Great stay at Hotel zum Goldenen Löwen, check in at Löwenbräu restaurant. Hotel has two entrances. Rooms are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast served opposite hotel at Cafe am Rathaus. Central location, 2 mins from Leopold Sq, 5 min walk to Caracalla Spa. Nice food served at Löwenbräu. Friendly and presentable staff.

Soap dispensers in the bathroom, like in other hotels.. More electrical outlets for electronics. The previous guest had unplugged the lamps by the bed and the television above the desk, so as to be able to plug in their electronics.

The ladies ( I guess the ones that work in the restaurant) were not so nice. A bit of improvement in their mood with the customers would be appreciated.

There was no lift and many steps as our room was on the 2nd floor. Our fault for not checking. Only a problem initially with suitcases but a young lady did help us. A small amount of noise in the evening but it stopped at a reasonable time.

Great Location, right in the centre of town. It's close to the shops and the spa. Delicious breakfast and also ate lunch in the restaurant which was good. Lovely rooms, with fridge and air con which was needed. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

the hotel belongs to a group, together with Laterne & Cafe am Rathaus right across from the hotel. while staff and service at Goldener Löwen was very good, the service and food at Laterne & Café am Rathaus was not so good with prices at the Laterne restaurant rather high for Baden-Baden. 😐

Enjoyed a couple of nights here whilst travelling through Germany and France. Our room was comfortable and well appointed (the fridge was a really useful addition). The location is ideal for exploring Baden Baden on foot as it's close to the city centre and the thermal baths. Breakfast, which is served in a nearby cafe, was excellent. The staff were very friendly, especially at check in.

Staff was rude. We had our room on the 2nd floor. There were no lifts, and they didn't help to bring down the luggage. No telephone lines for room service. The beds were uncomfortable Very pricy

Very noisy location so difficult to get to sleep. In the evenings it was the restaurant and bar people and very early in the morning it was the bin lorries and builders. Pity as the location is fabulous.
