Great place to stay and base ourselves in Rothenberg. The hotel has some old features and has a lot of character. The breakfast was good and the service faultless.

We would have liked to stay longer!

Management was very helpful in recommending activities and dining - I had such a great dinner at their recommended spot that we returned the next evening. The room was very unique, charming and comfortable - and the bathroom was fantastic, including the big bathtub! The daily breakfast was excellent and the location was spectacular!

Loved everything. The breakfast was wonderful, the staff are exceptional - professional, friendly and so helpful, the room was absolutely stunning, with an outstanding outlook over beautiful street scenes, the bed was so comfortable, the room big, the bathroom was immaculately clean, and there was just so much to love. I would come back to this hotel in a second. The location was fantastic, but it was the hotel and it's staff that were so good. If you are looking for character, charm, and downright gobsmackingly amazing rooms,....(in that this building is around 700 years old, and you are staying in medieval rooms) then this is for you. I could not fault it. I've never been so impressed, not even with super modern 5* hotels. Thankyou so much. (I* only wish I could have stayed longer, and if I ever come back to Rothenburg, I will not need to research accomodation.)

The hotel is located within the city walls. It's a beautifully appointed historical inn with a nice breakfast. Overall our stay was very comfortable and the staff very friendly & accommodating. Not to miss, the lovely gardens beyond the gate, only a short walk.

Poor WiFi coverage. This needs to be fixed since Wifi is quite important. Moreover the TV position (on the left side of the bed) was not practical. Impossible to watch TV while laying on the bed

We loved everything!

The owners were so friendly and helpful, they were always available. The historic feel of the hotel was incredible. Our room on the top floor had a balcony that overlooked the town and surrounding countryside, the views were stunning. The breakfast was also very nice.

The location was right in the middle of the walled city. It was a very short walk to most of the attractions that Rothenburg has to offer. The breakfast was basic, but good. The family that owns this property also runs the property. They are the nicest people you could ever as to meet. I will always stay at this property when I visit. We loved everything about our stay!!

Everything was absolutely wonderful except for being unable to reach the hotel by car. Many of the streets are closed and allowed for residents only. It would be nice if they provided driving instructions to know which streets guests could use to reach the hotel.

Awesome 700 year old hotel in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Clean, quiet and comfy with an amazing bathroom and heavenly shower. Hotel was very accommodating and helpful when it came to recommendations and parking requirements. Right on a main with restaurants, in house restaurant and a short walk to even more restaurants. Highly recommended.
