We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyThe bed pillows were very uncomfortable but the hotel offer a pillow menu so you can choose others. Unfortunately I didn't see this menu or realise it existed until checkout day.
The hotel was amazing! The staff were all very friendly and the Spa area was great! Our suite was spacious, exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The food was also brilliant (only had breakfast, no evening meals).

GermanyThe wifi hardly ever worked, especially not in our room on level 3. On Sundays, breakfast for hotel guests is until 11:00, and they make sure you leave at that time because the Champagne Brunch starts right after. So we were asked to leave at 11:15, despite having just ordered more drinks. Also, the SPA is a bit small, at least there usually aren't any spots available in the quiet areas because other guests reserve them in the mornings.
The staff was very nice, the hotel is very spacious with a nice outdoor area, and they offer all kinds of services for the guests. They made bookings for us, helped us with questions and offered to bring us to our room. The room was great, slightly old appliances but comfortable, clean, spacious, nice lighting, quiet, comfy beds, pretty look.

United StatesWas charged 28 euros for the parking. Parking not free for hotel guests?Really confusing. Even more baffling is that the hotel tried to charge me for breakfast while it was already included in the booking. It can do better.
The facilities are great, the decor is elegant and it was an enjoyable stay on the whole. The buffet was decilious as well.

NetherlandsThe place itself is beautiful but surroundings not that much hence why we primarily stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the facilities particularly the spa and the terrace. Check in could have been a bit faster but overall a very good experience.
Really nice room with air conditioning and high ceilings. Bathroom fine but don't like shower in bath for safety reasons. Had a great dinner in restaurant which was reasonably priced. Spa was nice. Staff very professional.

AustraliaWe didn’t book on the day. We were told the hotel was fully booked by reception. We told him there were rooms available with booking.com. He wasn’t interested in our conversation. We then had to book through booking.com and told him we had booked. He was extremely disappointed and was reluctantly informed his superior before we could do our check in. His supervisor was great and friendly.
For an isolated hotel like Althoff, it was not a bad hotel. Great facilities and great scenery. Manager on Site was fantastic and extremely helpful. Food was ok like any German restaurants.

IsraelThe restaurants on the premises are very expensive. The Enoteca restaurant we went to was nice, but not worth the price imo. To go to the sauna you need to walk with your robe through the lobby, which feels weird and inconvenient. The pool was not heated, so unusable in winter.

IsraelWe checked in the evening hours and wanted to eat. Well, you cannot ask for a salad, for a room service. You have to pick up from a menu online. When we went to the restaurant, we could not be served because there was no vacant place. That was disappointing. The bathroom was clean but there was mould on the tiles and bath at the corners. Didn't expect to see that in a a place like that.
Beautiful place, very impressive. Big room and bathroom. Beverages, free of charge in the room. The clerk who first served me, was very polite and helpful.
