How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room needed a fridge. We bought some things to drink which needed a fridge.
The hotel was well connected with the underground, bus and tram very very close.

I was upgraded to a studio: a spacious and comfortable room with a kitchenette and a balcony. The view from the balcony wasn't great, but that didn't bother me. Breakfasts offered everything one could reasonably wish for. The assistant manager, David, was at all times extremely helpful. The hotel was conveniently close to the Turmstrasse U-Bahn station.

Good hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and good wifi. Not the best location, but it's near a supermarket and U-Bahn with 2 buses. Recommended for a business trip.

The front street can be noisy when you have the windows open, my friends at the back of the hotel heard no city noise at all.
The rooms were very comfortable, practical and ultra clean. The shower room, well set out and good space. My friends were uprated from the basic room I had, which was perfectly satisfactory. The upgrade provides a kitchen area with microwave and fridge. Furnishings are good quality and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, there was even some non-gluten bread which actually tasted like bread. That room has a comfortable area for relaxing or laptop working. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially the assistant manager, David, and the General Manager. Their restaurant tips were spot on. The subway is only about 100 meters along the pavement to the left as you exit the hotel. Trams and busses across the road, a very good hub for getting round the city.

Beautiful quiet room (at the back of the hotel), spacious with a small kitchenette. The tram terminus is across a small park, and the subway a couple of doors away, so central Berlin (including the central station) is easily accessible. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

What a delightful place to stay. A boutique hotel with parquet floors, modern furnishings, luxurious bathrooms, large wardrobes and excellent sound insulation between rooms. Well located next to a metro station and bus stop. There's a supermarket right next door and an amazing Vietnamese restaurant only 100m away. A big shout out to the staff who are super friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommended.

Room could of done with a fridge, microwave and some cutlery for storing and preparing food.
The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The room was very clean , and had a nice outdoor balcony space.

Everything was fine.
The room was very comfortable and recently renewed. I had to check in late because of a flight delay, and everything went smoothly. There is a very good Vietnamese restaurant on the street and a supermarket next door (7am - 10pm).

The park in front of the building is a bit sketchy
Overall great experience, the staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms clean, the building was open 24/7. Netto market next door, as well as metro/bus station. About an hour of walking to city center.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, they answered all my questions promptly before the trip. The room was stylish and modern and very clean. The hotel is in convenient location and metro, trams and train is near by.

Minor technical issues (hot water in 1 bathroom just a drip, fridge did not work properly, heating not to be adjusted), traffic noise when located facing Turmstraße which also makes the balcony non-attractive

The bed wasn't the comfiest and made my back sore, however my partner was fine.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Perfect!

The blankets were singles instead of a bigger one for the whole bed.
Close to the metro , bus and various food places. Staff were very helpful and the room and bathroom were very clean.
