The furniture was a bit outdated. Our room had a slanted wall on one side of the bed, causing painful bumps to the head when one is not careful when getting in and out of bed. Not a fan of the sliding door to the bathroom because it never stayed completely shut which did not allow complete privacy.

This was our 2nd stay at Hotel Hetzel. Free parking. Breakfast included although we didn't have time to eat. Check-in was quick and easy. Water kettle, instant coffee, and mini-frig were big pluses!

We were there (unfortunately) during one of the hottest nights of the year. Without air conditioning, it was very hot in the room. The mattresses of the bed were very hard (for my taste). Although the bathrooms were very nice, the door to the bathroom could not fully close and it is a bit weird when you can see someone on the toilet from your bed.

Ideal for one night stay. Nice rooms and clean bathroom.

My colleagues commented that the gentleman at restaurant next to the hotel was unfriendly.

Large parking area behind the hotel, but when it is full, one must find parking elsewhere. Lots of restaurants in the area. Friendly staff at reception.

The room is much clean and even receptionist staffs are friendly which makes the situation relaxing for me. However the location itself is a little far away from the city center, but then again we have suburban railway or S-Bahn to commute back and forth

Parking spaces are limited, and it was difficult to find a parking space. The room was ok and clean when we checked in, but I think the next day, the cleaning was done but very superficially. If you are looking for nice restaurants or things to do you have to drive to the centre as this part of Stuttgart is boring. The bar adjacent to the hotel are not friendly people, it was 9.30 pm and they wouldn't serve us a drink while the bar was still full.

The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Very friendly, breakfast was good.

Breakfast was really simple with only few choices. The bed made lots of noise with even a simple movement.

The bed was pretty worn-out.

The Mercedes Museum was relatively close, that was the main reason for the trip. Breakfast and staff were nice.

The street side room was quite noisy during the midnight.

Very and spacious nice room. The staff were very nice. We came down for breakfast 15 minutes before it was over. There was not a lot of food left. The gentleman there was exceptional and made us some eggs and brought us coffee. He was a very kind person. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was good, close to several u-bahn linien, room itself was very big with everything needed, bathroom was comfortable and special kudos to breakfast. I didn't expect such a good one

There was not enough Wi-Fi signal in the room, and the property does not offer good value for the price charged.

The room was very cold, hard to get the warm water in the shower going. Room key didn’t always work. Flat and uncomfortable pillows Breakfast left a lot to wish

We had 2 rooms. A double and a single. The single didn't have a coffee pot.

Location was great, breakfast was fine. It was nothing special. The staff was wonderful. The rooms seemed a bit outdated and small.
