How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Nothing majorly wrong with the hotel.
The breakfast was varied and would suit most tastes. The location was excellent, in a lovely area, I definitely felt safe at night. Also only a 15 minute walk to main train station, bus terminal. The walk to the train station was full of shops, bars etc. The hotel itself was friendly and the front desk were very helpful. Loved all the film artefacts in the hotel and found it a very interesting stay. Some reviews have said the furniture in the room is dated, although it is dark wood there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and didn't look old.

On the website it mentions a bar but apparently that is now closed and the gym was very small and the machines didn’t work properly

Public transport in Berlin expensive, in other to arrive to the center, you need to take bus in 1 way-3.5 euro

The staff was curt and failed to resolve basic requests. We requested extra pillows through the Booking app, and they weren't there. When I asked the front desk, they claimed the request wasn't received. Instead of having them delivered, we had to carry them up ourselves. Just a basic request and constant rude responses by staff were unacceptable.
The location was excellent, and we loved the theme.

This was our third visit to the hotel. We have previously been given an inside room which is quiet with no street noise. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for an inner room when booking and the one we were given, number 252 was above a bar/club on Knesebeckstrasse which proved to be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.
The breakfasts are superb. Excellent choice of good quality food. Breakfast staff very attentive and helpful. Room and bed were excellent. Always enjoy our stay at Hollywood media.

Nothing extra included. Event no mineral water not included in the price what is the standard in Polish hotel. Disappointed, next time I will choose another hotel.

The temperature control was not working. We complained but it was not of much help. It was very humid day and the temperature inside was very warm and the air conditioning was malfunctioning. We tried to open the window but since the room and hotel was so close to a busy rout the outside noice was bit high.
The room was large enough and facility was good. The morning breakfast was elaborate and the staffs were friendly

The WiFi was not working in our room so I had to go down to reception to do some work, and the bath towels were quite small.
The hotel's Hollywood theme was very interesting, my son took lots of photos of the old film posters and equipment that is dotted around the place. The location is fantastic, surrounded by excellent shops and restaurants.

if you stay 4 days, they put in the room just one complimentary bottle of water for all stay and not every day
room was very clean breakfast was excellent and very rich location also is very good, in a main street (kurfurstendamm) where you can find many brands, closed to historical church Kaiser- Wihelm- Gedachtniskirche (10 minutes walking from hotel)

The decoration on 3rd floor was a little bit scary, post of Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari and photos in black and white.
The location is very good! We were there for Berlinale, and the transportion is very convient by bus and subway. The cleaner will clean room every afternoon. The service is also good, they helped us to add bed.

It was a really nice stay. The staff was friendly, room was clean and spacious. it did not have carpet, which I really appreciate. The breakfast was super tasty with huge variety of meals to choose from, including freshly squezed juice. The neighbourhood is nice and close to center
