The main problem with this place is its having a 4 star rating. This is not a 4 star hotel, but a private house adapted to be a hotel among several difficulties. We don't like having stairs to climb (with luggage) just to reach the reception. The elevator was ridiculously small, owing to the need of squeezing it in the available little space left by the stairs. The breakfast was the poorest aspect: a nice room with a veranda (overlooking the parking space, however), but with very little choice of stuff bought in the closeby supermarket and presented in a rather sad fashion.

A very quiet room with a comfortable bed. A nice old building overall, even though is was clearly unsuited for a 4 star hotel. The neighbourhood was nice and elegant and quiet. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and helpful (everybody could speak English and one of them could even speak Italian). At walking distance from downtown, but half an hour of walk; reasonably close to an Underground station, however. The parking space, in a private courtyard, was convenient, even though we learned only afterwards that it was farily costly.

No tea and coffee making facilities. The staff where happy to provide it’s just nice to make at your own convenience. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre which was not a problem for us as we love to walk but others less able may not find this to their liking

The Beethoven was immaculate, exceptionally quiet we never heard another guest the soundproofing was the best we’ve ever experienced. The room was comfortable with a chair and small table. While we didn’t have breakfast there the smell from the kitchen was very tempting. We really enjoyed our stay at the Beethoven.

The hotel is very cozy, clean and situated in a nice residential area close to the city centre. The room is well equipped and the staff super kind and helpful. Breakfast has a good variety of sweet and savory products. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back.

The location was quiet. The room was very small but comfortable with a nice bathroom. Registration was easy and the woman who greeted us was helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was excellent and the staff delightful. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a gem. It is located in Westend, a pleasant, leafy area in the west of Frankfurt, within walking distance of the Senckenberg Museum and the Botanic Garden. The hotel was all we could wish for: a bright, comfortable room, friendly staff and a superb location.
