The soundproof from room door is not perfect because you can hear people talking, walking in the corridor.

Although I phoned the hotel in advance and was assured that hotel parking would not be an issue, no hotel parking was available when I arrived. The nearest public carpark was full. I was sent to a public car park and had to walk 15 minutes back to the hotel which wasn't great on the departure day in torrential rain! Nobody offered to help load or unload the car at the hotel door either. Not what I would expect from a 5 star Hyatt hotel. Long queue for checkout as only 2 receptionists were there to deal with customers.

Lovely hotel. Very nice and comfortable rooms. Big and varied breakfast with a view of the river and cathedral. Friendly staff. Quick walk across the bridge into the centre of Cologne.

They should get rid of their small plastic shampoo and toiletry bottles and replace them with fixed large quality shampoos and save tons of unnecessary plastic waste

Not all toiletries are in the room but we requested from the reception and was handed what we needed.

The hotel faces the River Rhine, so if you've got that view, it is exceptional. Unfortunately we faced the right side and got a small glimpse of Hohenzollern Bridge. The area is quiet and staff are friendly enough. If you want to spend most of your time in the city, and if you prefer to do it on foot, the walk across the bridge is a kilometre alone. I don't find walking pleasant so that's that. But the hotel room was comfortable, clean and complete value for money.

It could be better if more road signs to be put up along the road between train station to hotel, surely could guide the guests more direct path for walking to the hotel.

Impressive view of my room facing the river, well-managed room provided a comfortable and relaxing environment during stay. AC operated well, wifi was stable, bathroom was cleaned daily, essentials refilled daily and beds tidied daily. Breakfast choices were plenty and tasty. Great location, just few minute walk from train station.

I would recommend that the hotel is saying that dogs are not allowed. we came with a small dog (maltezer 3,5kg) but could not eat in breakfast room, not in any of the restaurants, not in de club facilities. so there is a contradiction in allowing dogs in the room but nowhere else

There is nothing i didn’t like to stay in this hotel. Everything is as I excepted.

Everything’s perfect! Great location and amazing breakfast with great view of Dom Cathedral. Stayed for wedding anniversary and we received a bottle of champagne as compliment, it was not only that, we got also the room in special floor for member club and private breakfast with the great view even more close! And last we got special free welcoming drinks. It was sooo amazing experience.

Cost of parking is a bit expensive for €36 per day.

A royal treatment from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and had a beautiful, spacious room overlooking the Rhine. Breakfast was vast and delicious. Dinner at the Glass House is also highly recommended. We also like the wellness area. The location is also great.

It's a shame that there is no charging station for electric cars on the hotel premises (only one for Tesla). We had to move the car a little further away and charge it.

Stayed in a room with Riverview and it was fantastic! The room was nothing special actually but clean & spacious and we stayed comfortably. There was a big desk in the room and we could work from there, which was great. There was a wide variety of breakfast options, and the pool and sauna were available from 7am, allowing us to start the day energetically and refreshed.
