Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe lack of Aircon is not great and bed very hard. Stayed for a night at Motel One where price was cheaper and facilities better. But that said were Motel One fully booked in future I would stay again at Intercity as it was a close second.
Location is excellent, fantastic for getting around Berlin and would stay again on that basis.

SpainBreakfast, for the price, is limited and room can be packed and noisy. Intercity hotels offer a free transport ticket during your stay but now, due to the 9 € ticket, it is kinda useless. Courtains do not cover all the window and light enters.
Location is perfect, inside the Ostbanhof Station. Less than 5 minutes walking to East Side Gallery and in walking distance to Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. U and S Bahn connections are excellent. Staff is nice and helpful. Hotel is really clean and overall, comfortable. WIFI works well.

The free public transport ticket was great and we really liked the location of the hotel, within one of the main train stations in Berlin. The stuff was nice and helpful. The room was cleaned and the size of the room and bathroom was satisfying. Since the hotel is in a train station we had many facilities at hand. The room was quiet and we did not hear any sound from the outside.

NetherlandsThe hotel internet is terrible. I measured the speeds of upload and download at less than 1 mbit. This is inside the room. The last time I used such slow internet was in 1998. As an IT person, I would avoid to stay here for work because of this reason.

Excellent connectivity - its part of the Ostbahnhof which is the East Berlin station. it’s like 1-2 stations from the city centre and a 22 minute train ride to the airport. Station promenade has a lot of shops, restaurants and a pharmacy as well. Reception staff were super nice and helpful!

GermanyThe room is next to the track and platform 1. When the train passes, you will definitely hear it. There is hair on the bedsheet, under the blanket.
Perfect location. The hotel sits just next to Berlin Ostbahnhof, a three-minute walk from the platform. The room is comfortable. The hotel provides public transport tickets, making the travel easier. The price/quality ratio is perfect. I recommend it for both short-term and long-term stays.

We love the location "inside" the train station of Ostbahnof, on a direct line to the airport and central Berlin. Staff was friendly, room was spacious and had a fridge, and it was clean.
