How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There leaving students all week, so they are very noisy(
Beautiful location in the forest but still Nurnberg, few minutes bus to the urban. Big room, comfortable bads, clean room, bathroom, warm. Good, kind people who work there helps us a lot. Small breakfast but it is).

The family room we had was very clean and the right size for an overnight stay. Having breakfast included was useful. There was a reasonable choice of food.

The noise at late hours made by other young guests
Breakfast was great with various options, quiet morning and nice little forest behind the guest house, good customer skills receptionist, off street parking.

We arrived late and called the reception to ask them to let us in. The man was extremely rude and said the hotel was closed. We ended up sleeping in the car at the car park … not very nice!
Rooms were nice and clean. They did allow us with our dog which was very nice and the additional pay was not much.

Great location for nature lovers, quiet and great for jogging. U-Bahn station is located nearby, 10min. walk. Pleasant experience like the last time.

Beds were a bit uncomfortable and room heating wasn’t super effective so if it’s cold, I’d recommend wearing thermals to bed or a sweater and pants.
Super hot water, close to the airport, quiet & quaint space.

Not a dislike but just a note that it's under or very near to the flight path. To be expected and nothing can be done about that of course just it can be noisy at night
Simple and basic got what we paid for . Place was spotless inside . The gent you checked us in was very nice . Great location if driving to airport. Great hostel like vibe to it

Noisy due to old wooden floor, when other guests walk near the room door. No curtains, light in the early morning from window and also from upper part of the door. Internet connection not free , but payment required!
OK for 1 night stay in case of early flight from Nuremberg (as in our case). Just a couple of km away from airport. Clean room, basically equipped ( for example no soap, no hair dryer in bathroom). Comfortable beds.

Breakfast is cheap but not worth.
Nice, neat and clean. Good for overnight stay. We were travelling to Austria form NL so we stopped here for a night.

Old painting on halls and poor light It feels like an old institute.

The inside of the building could be prettier, however this is a youth hostel.
The hotel is a basic youth hostel on the outskirts of Nürnberg, so do not expect any luxury or top-notch location. The building (from the outside) and the garden is however quite charming, and there is free parking. We just needed a cheap place to stay for one night and it lived up to our expectations. We stayed in a room with 6 beds (two bunk beds and two single) and a private bathroom. The room was large, and the beds were fine, we also had a baby bed for no extra charge. We were told that you can buy breakfast, but we left early, so we did not try that.

It may be better if they can supply hot water for tea etc.. room is very cold even in July, the heating system was not working. There was no shampoo.
Location is not in city center, it is like in the forest and this is really very nice. Room is good, clean nice.
