You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceVery minor, there is no indication that I coud notice about the name of the hotel at the main entrance and I had to enquire at the restaurant but everybody was helpful and friendly. In spite of the impressively long list of TV channels, TV5Monde which I enjoy when abroad was not there.
Very nice and quiet place, with AC working on this unexpectedly warm April day that reached 26°C where I could go down to 21°C.

NetherlandsIt would have been nice if the tv had been a smart-tv for streaming. As the property is in an old building there were some noises (water running, etc.) but nothing that disturbed our sleep.
The interior of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained with high ceilings and lots of space. The bed was great and the bathroom was huge, with a pretty good shower as well. Climate control kept the room nice and cool in summer. Breakfast wasn't very large, but everything you expected was there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Mannheim city center and also very convenient for a city trip to Heidelberg. The hotel has its own parking garage, which is located about two minutes away on foot.

United StatesThe room was great, BUT instructions for key things, like the AC, were only in German, so not tourist friendly. Similarly, good luck reading the sign at the unmanned reception... also only in German. It said to call a mobile number (a long distance call, generally) it was also an unmanned mailbox. Eventually I figured out to walk in through the restaurant around the corner where I was greeting in, you guessed it, German (and Italian): I speak neither. So, the instructions for getting into the hotel need help, but once it, it was fabulous. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we ate elsewhere, but it looked busy.

GermanyI couldn’t get into hotel, we arrived later because of traffic jam and reception was closed , as the hotel as well. On all possible phone numbers that we called to inform that our arrival time is postponed, there was nobody available. We just kissed the door and in the middle of the night, completely exhausted had to search for any other hotel in surrounding. We had to pay another hotel, but the hotel booked full amount from my credit card and checked my stay as no-show. No previous emails from hotel or any information about limited check-in time information or that there’s no 24hours reception desk , I’ve never got. Complete disappointment.
I couldn’t get into hotel.
