Lovely Scottish receptionist who checked me in. Well appointed , and quiet comfortable bedroom and clean bathroom.lovely breakfast in the refectory and friendly kitchen staff.

Stayed over three days (including a weekend retreat) in both a simpler room and the new guestbouse. Both rooms were very reasonable for their respective prices. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and well insulated so I was able to get a good, warm nights' sleep. Excellent customer service from all reception and kitchen staff. High quality, tasty breakfast and (mandatory for retreat paticipants) lunch/dinner offerings. The buildings and grounds are well maintained, beautiful and very fitting for a relaxing break. Lovely cafe with many food and non-food items. Easy walk to next village and Greek restaurant across the road are also very convenient.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of home made extras .... delicious ! Great location, also for travelling with oldtimers. Numberous excursions possible ! Looking forward to come back and have a longer stay !

The opening hours of the swimming pool could be indicated more clearly. But that's a minor detail.

Peaceful and silent environment, just what I was looking for. Couldn't hear a pin drop during the night, despite many people we're staying there at the time, which happened to be a holiday period.

The breakfast was more than adequate and very satisfactory; however we booked in for evening meal and there were only to choice of main course and fruit. We arrived around the mid period of serving and unfortunately there was only one choice (spaghetti) available. I would probably recommend taking an evening meal at the local inn situated opposite the entrance gates.

Our room was absolutely beautiful in this peaceful and quiet location. Exceptionally clean and welcoming staff. We have never stayed in a working "Kloster" before and the experience was most memorable. The grounds were beautiful and of course, there was a most peaceful atmosphere in the adjoining church. We wished we could have stayed longer. Part of the building is used as a school and it was a joy to see such well behaved children arriving for lessons.

The staff at the reception didn't speak English and all information on signs was written in German. It made communication a bit more complicated, but staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for one night in the 'comfort' rooms. They are spacious, modern and clean. The old monastary buildings are wonderful, and the grounds are serene. As a whole it was a very calm and relaxing visit in a unique setting.

A beautiful, tranquil historical guest house in peaceful Kall. Good value for money with excellent choice of breakfast. They even have their own brewed beer. Very clean and tidy rooms to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.

The setting of the monastry is stunning, in the middle of nature. Guests rooms are in the annex of the monastry and are very well equiped. Sumptuous breakfast is served in the dining room. Staff was kind enough to let us have breakfast in our room, so that we would not have to leave our two dogs alone.

The room was basic, for one, peacefull and humbling. Nothing to complain of. It is still a monastery. Location brilliant. Having breafast in a monastery hall was both wonderfull and a great experience. A little issue with language barrier, but it was expected. If you enjoy simple things don' t miss it.

Dogs are not allowed at breakfast so we had to leave our dog in the room which was unfortunate. The breakfast was average and extremely crowded, lots of tables reserved, so difficult to find space. The towel quality was not great and the room was not cleaned every day.

The location was nice, and the room was great. It was clean and spacious! Staff was quite nice. The surrounding area of the monastery is beautiful, garden is stunning and well kept. Dog friendly hotel (in the rooms they are allowed, but not at breakfast).
