The room has curtains but not blackout curtains, so it makes it really difficult to sleep after the sunrise. The overall light level of the room during the night could also be improved.

It was good value for the money. The room has plenty of space and, although old, the furniture is still in good shape. I would recommend renewing the mattress and the sofa, but this did not impact my stay.

Room and furniture was old. Noise could easily travel from the corridor and neighbor rooms, just like they are inside your room. Fortunately most of the time neighbours were respectful

Nobody was at reception when we arrived. Rang the front bell for a few minutes and only managed to get in when another guest arrived and opened the door. Finally got hold of a staff member by paging them from the reception desk. Cost of the apartment was excessive (100 euro) for a single night outside of peak season.

Checkin was OK because I changed my plans to arrive before it closed. Otherwise not sure how reliable it would be, looking at other reviews. On 2 occasions cleaner just knocked lightly on door and walked straight in.

Near the KuDamm which is a rich area but quiet at night, metro not far. Very spacious room, good inernet and bathroom. Towels changed every day. Security good. Nearby restaurants are expensive but Ali Baba is not and does a big range of food.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke on arrival, despite smoking being forbidden. I didn't bother to complain because I was only there for two nights. The smell never dissipated during my stay. The walls are a bit thin - my neighbor would blast German news at 6 am each morning.

Fantastic breakfast at a low price! Staff at breakfast and reception were friendly. The immediate neighborhood is nice.

The staff has very limited English skills, which makes conversation difficult. The Reception was almost always closed, and they weren't picking up the phone.

our room was not ready when we arrived which was inconvenient, as we were travelling with our baby. but the guy in the reception was very friendly and helpful and did everything he could to make it easier for us. the elevator was very small

My room was on the 5th floor, but the lift only went to the 4th. I am 72, have been traveling for several weeks, so my bags are heavy, and lifting up, then down the last flight of stairs required careful stepping.
