Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Friendly hosts, very nice and clean house, Breakfast was awesome. Selection of pillows, They gave us the tourist card even when we only stayed one night. A nice surprise was the starry ceiling when we turned the lights off. That's a great feature.

United StatesAndrea and Peter were lovely hosts! Everything about our stay was excellent. It was cozy, immaculate, and always a beautiful breakfast. It really feels like a home that you coming into. Andrea went out of her way to help us find somewhere to eat, make a reservation, and even print up the menu in English. We enjoyed the beautiful sauna, rode e-bikes around the lake, and found such great peace with our stay.

Perfect location to visit all local communities and events. Two minutes walk from the lake promenade. The breakfast was something to die for. The staff was always ready to help with any wish. The owners were there all day to answer any questions or to provide pointers for local visits and attractions.

GermanyMy husband, 4 year old daughter and I had a wonderful stay here in one of the suites (Room #2). It was on the ground floor and had a large terrace that had direct access to the beautiful hotel garden. The bed was very comfortable the room was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The breakfast was really good and I could tell the owners put a lot of thought and care into the breakfast offerings. Speaking of the owners, they were very kind and accommodating. I also appreciate that they give the Tegernsee Card to guests. We would definitely stay here again! It is a beautiful property with a great location.

The owners of this hotel are very friendly and gracious. The hotel is well maintained, clean and cozy. Our room was large with two balconies, spotless and equipped with all amenities. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the owner himself looked after each guest with anything you might want additionally to the breakfast buffet. Our stay at the Landhaus Marinella was wonderful and I can definitely recommend this hotel as a very nice place to stay during your holiday.
