For us it was only a stop for a night to rest, but for sure we will be back. The breakfast is excellent, I have never seen so many varieties. The vibe and the landscape surrounded is nice and also a big plus for kids activities in the area.

We were welcomed, shown to our room, shown the facilities, offered information brochures and provided updates to acitivites in the local area. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We slept GREAT every night. We appreciated the daily tidying up of the room and the attention to detail by the staff. They were efficient and non-invasive of our time and space. The breakfast was AMAZING! We were provided a fresh boiled egg, cooked perfectly, every morning, as well as a coffee pot on the table, with a candle that kept the coffee hot. Various breads, cheeses, meats, jams, fresh fruit (mixed fruit, fresh apples and bananas, blueberries) and fresh vegetables (tomato, cucumber), plus various cereals (my favorite was the granola) topped with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, banana chips, and yogurt. There were also additional granola toppings to enjoy too. This delicious, nutritious, breakfast was a treat for us to enjoy. The staff worked hard to keep us happy, to provide prompt service, to provide ideas of things to do and places to visit, and restaurants to try. It was a delightful stay, for a very reasonable price, in a fantastic location for walking downtown Ruhpolding and with many things to see and do in the area. If we're in this area again, we will stay here again.

This was a homey abode that's surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. It's easily accessed by train; get off at Bibelöd for a 5-minute walk! Downtown is within walking distance as well, offering a market and several restaurant/shopping options. Also, the breakfast lineup exceeded expectations in every way. Absolutely beautiful array of fresh vegetables and fruits, cereals, toasts, yogurt, and spreads! Hot coffee is available as well, and can be kept warm with a tealight warmer.

The whole place is really comfortable and the staff was really nice to us the whole time. The location is not central on the city, but something you can reach with only 15 minutes walking, and thus, you can have the benefit of not having so many city lights and enjoy the view of the stars! Breakfast was also amazing. Can really recommend the place!

This a dated Bavarian guesthouse. While our room and the stairwell etc.. were perfectly clean they need some investment, while maintaining the traditional Alpine experience.

The location is OK, about a 15 minute walk to the town. Breakfast also OK, obviously because of COVID we didn't have perhaps the full tradition experience that would usually be available. One huge benefit, not peculiar to this hotel, available to all visitors to the region, is the Chiemgau Karte - which includes free admission for the whole family to many superb local attractions including cable cars, chairlift and swimming pools. The value in the card does make the price of the hotel seem a little less extravagant. We did travel in high season so the price was to be expected.
